Hello Gabbie~
I hope you didn't think I'd forgotten about you because that is never gonna happen! I know you've been watching over the flock while your mom is gone! We are having some really great adventures and it's so interesting to see the town where you live. I have been having a great time finding places around town to take Dixie and the boys! It is such a beautiful place and there are so many fun things to do. I suppose when people live in a town they don't view it that way but mom has always loved to check out "points of interest". They usually make the most fun trips! She and her mom and little brother did it years ago down in California and they had such a good time! It is one of mom's most favorite memories of time with her mom! They went to the Huntington Library and I think she liked that the best. Your mom is probably too young to remember a show called Fantasy Island but the house they showed at the beginning of the show is at the Huntington Library. It's called the Queen Anne Cottage and mom has tons of pictures of it. The original Pinkie and Blue Boy pictures are housed at the library too!
I know you are watching out for your mom too! We hope she is having a wonderful time!!
Rememeber how much I love you dearest Gabbie!! I always look up when I'm reading Dixie a story and I know that you and Divo are there listening too! I know you both love the stories as much as we do!

Baseball starts today! YAY! I do hope you will fly down to watch. Christine and Divo are coming down to watch. I like to sit in the stands with my Hello Kitty lunch box and have some snacks while I watch the game. I think I like it better than playing!hehehehehehe
Been pretty quiet around here. Mom is taking tonight off because she wnts to get some stuff done aruond the house. She gets a personal day every year and if she doesn't take it she will lose it so she decided to do it tonight. She needs to go to the market tomorrow so this way she can get some sleep before she goes.
I'm snacking on some apple and almonds right now. It is my usual morning snack. I was being really rowdy this morning and kept trying to climb down off the puter chair. I'm not allowed down on the floor and I know that, but I still have to keep trying!! It's not just the dog and the cat but all the wires under the puter. Mom says it not safe for me down there. I think that's why I want to get down there!!
I hope you always remember that I love you so much! I know how lucky I am to have you for my friend! I am a truly blessed little green zon!!

Here I am!! I wish I had something interesting to share but not much going on here. We have a broken compactor at the complex so mom had to get some big trash bags to put all the garbage in. She put in on the balcony because she just couldn not bring herself to throw it out on the walkway next to the compactor. It's been broken for 6 days now and mom can't understand why the garbage company just doesn't take it away and bring one that works. Mom has to pay for garbage every month so they really should get it fixed for their customers. Mom just doesn't understand what is going on and the office wasn't much help at explaining it! It's not tragic and eventually it will be fixed but is is a bother right now!
I was being very loud today and mom told me I had to keep it down since the windows are open. The cool part of our apartment is that we are in the very front and there is lots of traffic on the street so the traffic sorta drowns me out! That is the reason mom picked this place! She would love to be in one of the units in the back with all the forest around but it's too quiet for a busy zon like me!hehehehehehe
I hope you always remember how much I love you and how much I enjoy coming to visit with you! My most favorite time of the day is when I'm reading to Dixie and I know that you and Divo are right there with us listening to the story!

It's so late but I'm going to the night cage right now! It was such a lovely day and so very exiciting! Mom says it's okay that I celebrated so late because you don't get to be BOTD all the time!
I have to tell you I was very surprised! Mom always gives me a bit of toast in the morning and then we check to see what is going on at the BC. There my beak was! Right in that spotlight box!! Well, I dropped my toast I was so surprised! Mandy cleaned it up right away! I have to say that it is a bonus to have a dog because they make you look like a very neat eater even when you are not!hahahahahaha
They are going to spray for ants outside tomorrow. We have been having problems with them for months and I guess our neighbor downstairs has a very bad infestation. Her son is a parapeligic and has lots of medical machines down there and she told mom the ants were getting into some of them! YUCK! I'll just spend the day in the living room because they are spraying on the bedroom side of the building. The gardeners will be here also so there are going to be lots of people running around out there! Lots of people for me to squawk at!

I am having such a lovely day! It is sunshine, blue skys, pecans and apple slices!! It just doesn't get any better than this!! Great snack and a real springtime day. The rain will come back tomorrow but I am going to enjoy the sunshine right now!
Mom is getting towels dried right now so I will be able to help with the folding soon! I sit in the basket and throw the towels out! Mom folds them and then I throw more out for her! It's a system that works out great! I get to throw towels and mom gets my company while she does her chores!!
Remember that I love you so very much! I always feel so wonderful to be able to spend some time with you!! I really do feel so blessed to have found you and have you in my life! It makes my life so very special!!

Hello Sweet Gabbie~
It has been a very sad week with all the horrible things that have gone on. Mom says we have no control over any of it so praying is the only thing we can do to help.
We had a busy day around here because dad decided to make the storage room into a work shop so we have all the stuff tht was in the storage room to find a home for. It is not going to be easy but I'm sure mom and I can get it done.
Tomorrow we will get some cooking done. She is soaking my grains and beans for my mash tonight. I get a bit of it everyday and I really enjoy it!
I'm heading over to Dixie's now to have our snack and read our bedtime story. I hope you will be perched there listening to the story too!

OOOOO! New pictures! They are just beautiful! I love seeing you looking so happy and beautiful! I'm so excited to see them!
I got my play cage cleaned today! Mom did it before I got up! She is very sneaky!
I had it decorated really nice so now I'm busy getting it put back the way it should be! Got a new toy to play with also. It has wood and foam blocks. I started with the foam. They make the bottom of the cage a nice color!
I supervised some more cooking this morning. Mom got the corn bread done!YAY! I'm going to bring some over for Dixie tonight. Mom always makes separate muffins just for me. The family really likes corn bread so she has to stash mine away or the family will eat them!
I hope you always remember how much I love you! I always feel so happy coming by here to chat with you!!

I always have such a great time visiting with you and I love you too!!!
Mom has learned how to capture pictures from videos. She is not excellent at it yet, but she did manage to capture one of you and Dixie from your video! I put it in a fame and hung it in my gallery! She is still practicing and hopes to get better at it but in the meantime I have a picture of you!! I was so excited to see it! We just love the video and all the neat tricks that you and the other fids can do! Too Cool!!
Still not much going on around here. Mom got the kitchen cleaned up and played with me this morning! Right now I'm trying to figure out what to blog about! It gets very hard sometimes because it's just a regular sorta day and even tho I always have fun there really isn't anything exciting to report! This is so hard!! I still think I will get around and say hello and leave a hug! It's always nice to get a hug!
I hope you don't mind that mom and I are using your video to learn how to capture pictures! It worked on my avatar too which it the reason we started all this and it has opened a world of possibilities!

I am having a boring time right now, just waiting for the apple crisp to be done so that mom can head off to bed. I figured it would cheer me up so much if I came by to chat with you!
I absolutely love your avatar! It is so very beautiful! I love the violet background! I'm going to have to try something other than blue. Mom always makes it blue and there are so many colors to pick! She says not everything is going to look right with my green but I have to say the violet just brings out the green beautifully!
Mom has the ham bone from Easter in the crockpot with some beans and veggies. She tried to give me some carrot before she put them all in there, but I only want apple in the mornings. I have veggies in the afternoon and I just don't like messing up my schedule! Mom always laughs and says if she offered me a pancake, I would grab it no matter what time of the day it was! She's right! I had one yesterday and I just love them.
Merlin the cat was pretty quiet last night. The night before he was all over the place at 3am! He woke me up so I started squawking at him! I don't usually make a noise when the cage cover is on, but I was really mad at him! He was whacking mom in the head and trying to chew on her hair!! Then he started jumping on and off the window sill!! I thought we should just lock him up somewhere but mom got him calmed down and then got me calmed down and we all went back to sleep. Living with a cat is not easy!
I hope that you always remember how much I love you and how blessed I am to have you for my friend! Not too many birds would want to listen to me go on about a silly fur ball cat!!

I can not believe how slow the BC is today! I have had a horrible time trying to get around to say hello to everybird! Crazy!
Not really much going on today. Mom is still tired from yesterday! We had a lovely dinner and it was such a nice day, but mom would have enjoyed it more if she had gotten some sleep! She is on day 3 of 6 and really needs some sleep!
I'm doing just fine. I hvae been playing and chatting with mom all morning. Now I'll head off to the night cage while she sleeps. I have special toys that are just for the night cage so I look forward to going in there and playing with them!

I am having a nice quiet day so far. We spent the morning playing until I got worn out! I went to the play cage for a snack and a little nap.
Mom took sister to work and when she got back, dad had to take the car down to the mechanic. It was shaking and being very strange. The mechanic says it needs a tune up. Mom didn't know they did tune ups anymore! It is not going to be very expensive so that is a good thing. Mom always says that when she gets any money saved, something like this happens! At least it is getting fixed!
The family was suppose to go out to dinner tonight to celebrate brother's birthday. His birthday is tomorrow but mom has to work tomorrow night so they can't go then. The place is only 2 blocks down the street so they can walk, but I'm not sure if they are going to go! They may have to wait until next week to do it but I don't think brother will be bothered by that. He doesn't seem to be happy about having a birthday! I just love hatchdays so I don't know why he wouldn't love birthdays!!
I want you to remember that I Love YOU!! I think about you all the time and thank God for bringing you in my life!!

I have had a pretty nice day. I am looking forward to mom having time off next week so I can continue helping her with the spring cleaning. It is amazing what we are finding in the drawers around here! Mom now knows why the family can never find stuff around here!!
I know you were there to greet Bindi. She is in good wings with all of you up there and I know she is now healthy and feeling wonderful.
I am very worried about Dixie. Mom and I have read lots online about his condition. There are lots of foods that will help him and I know your mom will do her best for him. He and I are both older birds now so there are going to be problems just because of age! You know I am praying very hard that he gets better and isn't in any pain. He is such a wonderful friend and he has been so nice about me dragging my Hello Kitty blanket and pillow over every night. I know they are girlie things but he hasn't complained once! I should try to find some other blanket that he would like!

I am being so very loud today!hehehehehehe Mom was on the phone with her sister and since her sister lives across the sound, I had to be loud so she could hear me! Mom's sister it the one I use to live with. She is amazed at how much I talk now! Mom said people always ask if I talk and mom says they should ask if I am ever quite! I really do get going at time! I am yelling "What" right now. My favorite is "Help" but I also like to say "I don't know!" That one always makes mom laugh! Mom will say "What are you doing Sugar?" and I say "I don't know!" I know, mom and I are a bit strange but we always have fun together.
It's mom's "Friday" and she is taking Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night off so she only has to work Saturday night and then we get a mini vacation. It's going to be great and we have lots of plans. Her plans are for spring cleaning and my plan is to play all day long! Mom says we can work both of them in!

Another boring Sunday for Sugar!hehehehehehe
This time change really makes us all feel so very sleepy! Mom went in an hour early last nigth since she was going to lose an hour so she is ready to go to bed!! Mandy seems to be the only one who doesn't notice that anything is different! I guess being a dog is a good thing sometimes!
Mom will have next Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night off so we'll be back into a routine by then. We are working on some spring cleaning projects but she didn't get anything done today!! Sunday's are usually like this since it's her first night back to work and she is very tired by the time she gets home!!

I'm so glad mom is making time for me to get some notes out tonight!!
I got locked into solitary tonight because the family went out to dinner. They rarely go out so I guess I'm not too upset. They went to a new Mexican place about 2 blocks down the street. This place has been under construction for 10 years! Yep! 10 years! The family who owns it built it themselves. It is a beautiful place with all kinds of iron work from Mexico as decorations. Mom really enjoyed it and the food was good too. Mom brought Mandy and I some tortilla chips! They were great!
I'm so worried about Dixie. It is just breaking my heart that he has to go thru all this. I just don't want him to be in pain and I want him to get better right now! I know that when we get older we are going to have problems. I know the vet and your mom are taking great care of him. I am saying lots of prayers for him and I hope the medicine works really fast and that he is okay.

Here I am!! I wish I had something really interesting to share with you but it's pretty quiet here. Mom made some pumpkin bread and another pumpkin orange swirl pie! She had a big stash of canned pumpkin and since they are the big cans she has to make 2 things! She found the pumpkin orange swirl pie on the Betty Crocker web site cause she has a can of sweetened condensed milk and didn't know what to do with it! Turned out well and I enjoyed it!
Laundry just got done and we hung everything up so it's about time for mom to head off to bed. Tonight is her "Monday" and she is not looking forward to it. She requested a few days off in a couple of weeks so she hopes it gets approved! I do too! Extra time with mom is always a bonus!!

I am having a quiet afternoon today! Mom was on the phone with her aunt this morning. Mom had to emailed then to tell her that her phone was broken so they wouldn't worry about her.
Well mom borrowed a phone from dad's friend but by the time she got it, her aunt and uncle had gone to California for 2 weeks! They just got back yesterday so mom gave them a call this morning. They are both doing well. Her aunt is 75 and her uncle is 83 so mom checks up on them regularly. They live about an hour away across the water so mom gets to go visit a couple times a year.
Mom's cousin moved back in with them since she lost her job. Her cousin is not to happy about the situation but mom figures it's a good thing for her aunt and uncle to have someone there to help them.
I got into trouble this morning because I was trying to destroy everything on the computer desk! They shouldn't have so many interesting things up there if they don't want me to play with them!!
I ended up in the play cage but that turned out well since I got apples and a gold fish cracker!!
Mom is off to bed now and I'm going to my night cage!!

Everyone loved the pizza pasta dish. Even dad who won't eat anything that looks like a casserole! Mom thinks it's the whole east coast, west coast thing. Mom is from the east coast and dad is from the west! Her mom made all sorts of lovely casseroles and mom always loved them.
Mom just love spending some time at the lirbary every week. Ours is a very small one but there are bigger ones in other towns around here so you can request books from there and they send them to our library.
They have a lot of computers at our library too. It's a good thing that people have a place they can go to use a computer if they don't have one.
Our library is doing a food drive this week. I you have any library fines you can get them wiped out if you bring food in to donate! Very cool idea. The news keeps saying that the economy is getting better but around our county there is a 40% increase in people using the food banks. A lot of that 40% is senior citizens.
Remember that I love you sweetie!! I am so happy to have you in my life! Really! I hope you believe that because it is the truth!!

I have been helping mom cook this morning and it's been lots of fun. We do the cooking every Saturday. She made some pizza pasta bake! No crust on this stuff but I did get some pasta with my veggies this afternoon. It was yummy! She got some croissants also. I think I'll bring some over tonight when Dixie and I have storytime!
Mom was going to go to the library today to get us more books but she has run out of time. Perhaps she will make it over there tomorrow. YEP! Our lirbary is open for 4 hours on Sundays!
I'm praying for the family and flock and praying that the storm is not bad and that the power stays on. Snow is okay as long as you have your power on!

We are sure keeping mom and the flock in our prayers today! No more snow!! This has been a awful winter for their neighborhood. We want them all to be safe and warm!!
I am having a lovely Sunday. We don't really do very much on Sunday's because Saturday night is mom's first night back to work and she's pretty tired. We are just getting a few notes done and I'm having a snack.
I'm so happy that you liked the flowers! They were so very busy and didn't get it all completed until the next day. They really did a great job with all the orders they got! Flowers are always nice to get but it's even more fun in winter! We all need a little color!

I see that they posted the flower order! I haven't seen it yet because the shop is behind today. They have so many orders today! I hope you like them!
I had a lovely day! Mom made me a heart shaped corn muffin and it was so good!! She put a marble in the muffin pan and pushed the cupcake liner in to make a heart! It was very cute! She learned it from Giada on Food network. We like watching cooking shows sometimes. She likes HGTV too. I got to watch Finding Nemo this morning. It's such a cute movie.
I hope the family is getting back to normal. I know you are watching over them!! I think that spring can't get here soon enough for all of us!

Go to The Pretty Rose Flower Shop (Page 188440) and scroll down to the Picture Gallery. You will see your order receipt followed by your order. Your order may be on more than one page. Be sure to check all pages in the picture gallery.
To take delivery on your order, do the following:
1. Click on the image to open to full size.
2. Right click on the image to bring up the sub menu.
3. Click on "Save Picture As" and choose a location to save the image.
OR,
4. Simply copy the image and paste the image where ever you wish.
Do the same for all images.
Images will remain posted for one week. At that time, your order will be moved to a file folder. If you wish to reorder the same item, just let us know and we will repost it.

I am overjoyed that your family has their power back on! It's so hard to have to live without electricity. We are blessed because we have the gas fireplace that will turn on even with no power!!
I am so sorry about your cousin Marty. I know he is safe with you and Trixie. I'm so glad he has you up there. He will love being with you two again.
They say that the storms in teh north east were the worst in 40 years! I am just happy that they are done with and I sure hope that spring gets here very soon for all of us!!

Thank you so much for the hatchday wishes! I am having a very fun morning so far! Mom and I have our playtime in the mornings because Merlin goes back to bed about an hour after breakfast so I don't have to worry about him sticking his cat nose in my playtime!
I sat on mom and chewed her shirt a little and then I got my apple! Right now I'm hanging from the top of my cage trying to pull my toys into the cage! Mom put baskets on top of my play cage to keep my toys in so I hang up there and knock them all over. I have managed to pull in my pirate flag and pieces of eights! We are sailing today so I'm getting into the spirit of it!
I am so happy we are going to have this special time together! I feel so much better having my dear Gabbie right there with me!

We are getting ready to sail and I am so looking forward to spending the trip with you!! We are going to have the best time and I am so happy you are coming with us.
I've packed some book so we can still have storytime at night. I know we are going to be spending a lot of time watching those amazing sunsets!
Did you take a peek at the new fid at your house? It sure will be wonderful to meet him or her! I think it's destiny that brought him into your family and I just know he's going to be one happy bird!

I am about ready to head off to my night cage while mom sleeps. She only has 2 more nights to work and then we get our weekend! I can't wait!
We have been sitting around waiting for people to come do an inspection on our apartment. The corporation that owns it want to refinance so they said there would be an inspection. No one has come over yet and it's pushing 3pm. Maybe they are not going to do all the apartments. Mom couldn't figure out how they were going to do 304 apartments in one day anyway.
On Thursday they are going to come over and strap the water heater to the wall. The water heater is in the storage room off the balcony. Mom and dad cleaned it out last month to get rid of junk so it will be pretty easy to empty it.
I have a foam toy mom put in my night cage for me to chew up. I have had lots of fun chewing it up.
We sail in about a week and I can't wait! I am going to love spending all that time with you! We are going to have so much fun!

Hello Sweetie~
Pretty boring day again. Mom has some cleaning to get done and then she has to run out to the market for some food! I ate the last of my apples this morning so it's very important that she gets more apples for me! The cat is taken care of already but she need more veggies for me and the dog. I suppose she will get food for the humans around here too!
That is about all that is planned for today. I got my playtime this morning and it was fun. I like wrestling with mom in the mornings while Merlin is back in bed and can not distrub us. I'll get more playtime closer to bed time but for now I'm going to supervise the cleaning and maybe grab a nap!

Winter is here! I am happy that the fog has finally cleared away and I can see out the window again! I was getting tired of seeing nothing out there! I am looking forward to spring showing up but mom says we have to wait for a while still!
She is thinking about spring things to do while we wait so we have decided to have a picnic in the living room and pretend it's spring out there!! I love food so anyting involving food is good with me!

It was a nice day but boy am I tried tonight. I spent a whole bunch of time playing on mom. I just love sitting with here and chewing on her shirt.
She let me help throw the towels out of the basket today! I'm not allowed to help with the clothes cause the family gets worried I might poop on them! It only happened once ya know!hehehehehe

I have a very nice book to read to Dixie tonight. It is about a shoeshine boy who finds a scarf and sets off thru the city to find who owns it. It has some wonderful pictures in it so I hope you will sit on my shoulder and enjoy it with us!

I had a very nice day. We didn't do anything but that is normal for Sundays. Saturday night is mom's first night back to work and she is always tired. We took a nap this afternoon since she is off for 3 days now but we just got dinner done, the kitchen cleaned up and now I'm getting a few notes done. It's about bedtime for me. Mom has to feed Mandy and then I'll be off to play on the bed while mom gets my cage cleaned up and ready for night night!
I hope you will come and listen to the story tonight. It has great pictures. I love the books with lots of colorful pictures.

Mom is off to work now but then she'll have 3 nights off. It's a good time to take vacation because January is a bit slow at the store.

I was happy to hear that your mom is feeling better. I know you are sending angel hugs down to her. Mom has a few friends at work that are sick for the second time this season. I think it's time for everyone to remember to take their vitamins and take good care of themselves!
Mom has two more nigths to work and then it's our weekend! I'm going to be so very happy when it gets here! Mom is pretty tired this week so she will be happy too!
