I love the story about how your mommy got you! You are both very lucky!
My mommy loves cockatoos and was trying to talk my daddy into letting her rescue a feather plucker from my favorite pet store. But Charlie was originally raised by a family with children. When the kids went to college he was alone a lot and started plucking. He really liked kids...and fortunately he found a forever home with a family with three sweet beautiful girls!
