Seymour and Dante! Hi Seymour! We mini-macaws are the perfect parrot, aren't we? My Mom wanted a Hahn's macaw years ago when she was looking for a bird for her daughter. Her silly daughter got a sun conure instead. Then the daughter left the country for England and Mom and Dad took in Sunny. Sunny died years ago. Now my Mom says that I am the bird that she always wanted. She and I absolutely adore each other! I am rather new to my Mom's house and they have never given me macaroni; at least not yet. I would like to try it! Like you, I love apples and grapes. And blueberries, raspberries, peaches nectarines and lots of other fruits. Mom insists on giving me vegetables also but I throw most of them out of my bowl. I like snap peas, carrots and broccoli. I would exist solely on popcorn and sunflower seeds if I had my preference. My Mom said that she would get me a snuggie like you have. She is hoping that I might spend more time in my cage if it was more "snuggly." I prefer to stand on top of Lucy's (my CAG friend) cage all of the time instead of sleeping in my own cage. I am just trying to protect that silly old bird. hehehehehe I am such a demanding bird, but my Mommy loves me just the same. Apples must be in this bowl, food in the other, must have peanuts hiding in my food, have to be awake at 6am. Hello Seymour... It sure was nice to meet you today. You are so handsome, I hope to get back to looking as good as you when my feathers grow back in. It such a pain right now, cause I have so many tender and painful pin feathers and when I preen they hurt so much. My momma she tries to help me by misting but I shiver so much that I hate to be misted. But, momma is trying everything she knows and maybe one day my feathers will grow out and won't hurt.
