 I saw,her at a pet store,and she looked very scared.:( I looked back to see how long she had been at the store. She had been there a year,after being transfered to from another store! So,she just flapped her way into my heart. One look into those eyes,and I new I just couldn't leave her like that and here she is!. |

Well its nice you have the eggs at least. Mom said the day didn’t have enough of hours in it today. She should get up when I do and she would be ok cause I get up when the sun comes up. Takes the parronts a long time till they take my cover off though so I know they are sleeping way too long and I whistle loud too! Hope you had a nice Memorial Day with family and friends. Wow you got eggs and how many? When should they hatch? It sure has been warm here the last few days and looks like rain might be moving in after Memorial day. We didn’t even get outside while mom cleaned the cages since it was so warm. It has been a busy last few days and lots happened I didn’t get to tell you all about. Dad pick up wouldn’t start and mom had to go after him 2xs the other day and once they bought a battery. The old one was only 3 yrs old but the pickup did start then so thought that was the problem but ended up it quit again. That time it had to be put on the flat bed and taken to the garage so dad is down in the dumps with out his pickup. “People often ask “how can you be friends with some one you have never met? And we tell them you have never been on BC I bet” That about sums it up too my friend! V4U A friend forever, Chi chiCome visit me, Gus & Chi chi ..

Glad to meet you too. No we didnt write that poem we sent when Rio passed but glad it gave you some comfort. Mom had corn on the cob and gave me a piece of it. I attacked it and then acted like I might like the taste or maybe I didn’t LOL. Either way mom threw it away eventually. She should know by now I don’t try any of that kind of stuff but she just keeps trying. “People often ask “how can you be friends with some one you have never met? In George Washington's days, there were no cameras. One's image was either sculpted or painted. Some paintings of George Washington showed him standing behind a desk with one arm behind his back while others showed both legs and both arms. Prices charged by painters were not based on how many people were to be painted, but by how many limbs were to be painted. Arms and legs are 'limbs,' therefore painting them would cost the buyer more. Hence the expression, 'Okay, but it'll cost you an arm and a leg.'
