I am sorry to bug you in your very limited time. I need to know ASAP what you already told me. WHY mom did not keep better notes...
Which of you will play as the rules of only ONE per flock per team is holding?
(I am still weak, but eating. We have to not let me have TOO much and start making another egg, since the lupron will soon kick in and then the egg WILL be stuck)

Today mom arrived during the vet's lunch, he had gone home. Mom had to use the restroom, which meant going thru the room I was in. I did spot her, and started calling 'Hello'. I did not stop, hello, hello, hello...
Good thing the vet arrived soon after.
I am home, but weak. I have a lamp to help keep me warm.

Hi Oatie,
Don't let me photo fool you...that was taken BEFORE I started plucking. I still wear my collar most of the time. Mommy usuallytakes it off for a day or teo every week to give me a break and let me bathe and preen, but usually aft a couple of days, I'm plucking again. Mommy just doesn't want it to et out of hand.
I want to thank you so very much for congratulating me and helping to make me BOTD. Mommy and I still don't understand how that happened since I'm on here so infrequently these days, but we really appreciate it. I just love being a Queen and/or a Princess. That's what I am at home!

The furballs have a vet appointment today, and mom is hoping to get to the pool as well. After shoveling the driveway this morning, though, it's anyone's guess if she will make it to swim. Tonight, she is going with her Vietnamese friend to shop for goodies to take with her for the family. Mom wants to get them something they will like, and Nghi wants to take candy. The author and his wife bought a house in rural MI for peace and quiet but not for long, as the feathered and furred family increases ! Mom's favorite is Ollie - a terrorizing parrotlet ! This one is such great fun !

QUAKERS RULE
Today's book is very close to my little green heart for a couple reasons - TANGO IN AMERICA by Steve Baldwin with Alison Evans-Fragale is about my wild quaker frothers in the USA. Tango is a young quaker looking for her father. During her search she faces many challenges and learns about life, love and growing up. Probably best categorized as a young adult book. She rescues a baby owl with an injured wing and over the next 19 years she studies and falls in love with Wesley. Poor mom, a sick puter AND itchy rashes? Is she getting better? Fire ants sound very nasty. I don't think you should help with poison ivy, that might not be safe.

What a hatchday I had. What an interesting day in the castle. Mom spent a good part of the day in bed, sicker than she has ever been before. She made it through the move, and a good part of the unpacking, and last Thursday night it hit her as a simple cold. Friday morning she was dead on her feet and she tried to get in touch with a doctor in this new area - forget it. it is a long weekend here, so she has to wait until Tuesday. She called her doctor back home and was put on meds right away. Poor mom cannot talk without choking and choking with a raw throat is awful. Her own doctor feels she has a case of strep along with sinusitus and bronchitis. She held off good during the move, but it all caught up with her. She took a 3 hour nap outside by the river yesterday, since she could not stand up any longer. She found out quite quickly that the black flies love her. She is full of bites from those nasty little critters. They don't much love Dad but if you could see Mom, she is full of their love bites. LOL We are celebrating my hatchday all day today, since Mom is somewhat better now and is going to the bakery to get me a special cake. We had rain like that too, but I like my bathtub instead. It is a baking pan larger than 9 x 13. I really don't like the shower.
