Hey Tweety!
We would like to thank every birdie for coming to our Healthy Coming-Out Party/Belated Hatch Day Party for me. The Hatch Day was for me and the Healthy part for both of us being medicine free. :) Thank you every birdie from the bottom of our little birdie hearts. We appreciate all the love and support, and many many prayers and well wishes we received from everyone.
I hope everyone enjoyed themselves as much as we did watching every birdie having a blast. :)
Mahalo to you all and till next time, practice those swings, you never know when the next piñata will be coming. :)

Yay, it's Friday! And it's halfway through the month, too. The baby squirrels have begun their weaning process, and that's good news, even though it means more cleaning to do. We all know how sloppy babies can be when they eat, and these babies paint themselves with food!
Thank you for coming back to vote every day. I love seeing everyone, even though you are getting c/p notes. That's a time constraint, not lack of caring on my part.
So, for today, let's hit an area that many people have in the yard and don't know how to brighten up. Those dampish areas at the edge of woods are ideal areas for plants that don't like a lot of sun. Under most trees are other places these plants will flourish. They include sweet woodruff (galium odoratum), tiarella, VA bluebells, marsh marigold, bunchberry, lily of the valley, mayflowers, jack in the pulpit, tall blue lobelia, astilbe, chelome and black snakeroot, not to mention hostas and coral bells. If you're using these under individual trees, be aware that most of them need a lot of moisture in the soil, so keep them watered. Here's a vote and a big mid month hug for you today. I'm always pulling Precious tail when she's on the swing.... Now she learned how to pull my tail:(. She pulled me off the swing a few days ago:( I fell to the bottom of the cage:(... Of course when I got back up, we fought:( we both got birdie time out)
