Up to any mischief lately ? We haven't had any snow yet except for a freak storm over Halloween ! So, I discovered that if I shred calculator paper into lots of tiny pieces, then stand over it and play helicopter -it snows - INDOORS ! You should try it ! Your mom will love it as much as mine - she came running and screaming with joy and flapping her arms so she could try it too ! ! !

I do hope you can talk mom into bringing you to milonga (page # 165848) on Saturday night - if you remember, that was where we first met
We had so much rain this past month, mom's allergies are reaaly bad ! Dad even moved to the other room last night so at least HE could get some sleep ! Poor mom

It was great to hear from you again ! ! We know how these hoomans can get . . . always some priority besides us - grrrrrr
My summer was really fun - we went to the Finger Lakes -in my gallery you can see some pictures - there was a big screened in porch where I hung out supervising all the lake activity !
Now mom is getting her classroom ready to go back to school - I'll have to get used to her being gone again -

Today it's professor Squak, and I have been informing the masses of the difference between coffee CUPS, and coffee MUGS. cups are little dainty things, MUG hold 16 ounces of COFFEE for the strong, hee hee. Mom has two MUGS while doing my puter stuff. hee hee.Come visit me, Tweet & Squak.

Well, Harley
We're home and the kitchen is finished - I have my very own cabinet with my toys and food so I'm Ok with the whole thing =)
It is very hot down here in NY - we've had to close windows and turn on a/c - I prefer open windows when I can yell at everybirdie outside ! ! Plus when it's nice, I get to go out on the back deck sometimes - although there was a robin sitting on her nest under it - you can see it in my gallery - mom enjoyed watching the babies . . .

actually, that sounds like a perfect weekend ! I've been with mom at the in-laws while the kitchen is being remodeled and I'm going home tomorrow ! There is still no countertop - it wasn't delivered yet =( Mom doesn't mind though she says it means paper plates and cold meals and lots of take out !

MEET ME AT THE FAIR!!!!
Come one, come all to the Milonga County Fair!
Date: Saturday, June 25th
Time: 8PM EDT

That's right, birdie buddies, the party you all have been anxiously waiting for is finally here! The first Annual Milonga County Fair is this Saturday night, and boy is it going to be a doozy! Of course, the eagerly anticipated Pig Races will be the highlight event. Our rider/pig participants are: Scooby Doo/Harley Hog; Peatree/Wilber; Poirot/Hamlet; Hulk/Jimmy Dean; Juni/Pinky; Sweetpepper/Petunia; Spirit Cloud/Pumbaa; Sugar/Pippo; Jenny Lynn/Ham Hock; Weasley/Oreo; Picabo/Ham Bone; Pico/Pancetta; Gizmo/Piglet; Polly/Itsy; Mango/Spamela and Quincy/Porky. So I am sure you have some friends amongst our daring Pigestrians who will want and expect to see you cheering them on from the stands. We have 16 riders, so there will be four heats and the winners of those heats will compete for the "Champeen Pig Rider" trophy.
And there will be pie eating contests, and those you can sign up for at the milonga page. All who want to compete can do so, although the Macaws will get a bigger pie for obvious reasons. Let's see who can gobble up their pie the fastest (with their wings behind their backs, of course). This one promises to be pretty darned messy, but I suspect the crowd of spectators will probably be more than willing to eat up any spillage.
If you like rides, this is the place for you. There will be a ferris wheel, a merry go round, a roller coaster, a tilt-a-whirl, and all those stomach twisting and feather ruffling rides that you love. It will be a thrill a minute. And on the other side of the fair will be the carnie games of chance. Try your luck at sinking the nerf basketball or knocking down the milk bottles. There is whack-a-mole and skee ball. You name it and we've got it.
And finally what would any fair be without fair food? Our very own Lizzie has put together all the booths with everything bad for you that you could imagine (and that your parronts never let you have) from cream puffs (a Wisconsin specialty) to fried anything on a stick. That's right; you bring her the food item, and she will fry it for you! What more could a birdy ask for?
So come to the fair and have a wonderful time. You know you want to.

So tomorrow is my Hatchday!! I can't wait! Plus the Crackerjack conures have a baseball game tomorrow! YAY! As some of you might know my friends bird Pearl (#209144) needs to go to the vet. So untill she has enough money to take him, if you order a paintig from Pretty as a Parrot a $1 from every painting will go to his mommy to help her pay to take him to the vet. The prices are:
$10 for a 5x7 canvas.

$30 for a 11x14 canvas.
