 I come from an animal loving family and after I moved away to college I wanted to find a pet that would work in a small apartment. I did some research and found Aden's breeder online. I picked him up from the airport at the end of June 2010. He is very feisty but after months of work he's become the most wonderful bird. I love him so much.. |

Long time no see!
Sorry I haven't been able to post lately. Aden may be talking, you just might not be able to understand it. They do not talk as well as bigger birds. Peekaboo does not really "pronounce" the words, he sort of "sings" the rythym of what you say. it does not sound like somebody is really talking.

Punkin here to tell you how much I hope you had a wonderful day. It's always so fun to be in the castle. I hope you can fly by and vote for me. I'm going for BOTM and sure can use help. I'm also telling everyone about our move to NC from Reno, Nv. I have left the stories on my frother, Shaggy, page. So if you miss one you can always read it there.
#4 of our moving experience....Man mom brought in A LOT of boxes and she put them down...you should have seen all the flying around. Oats, Kiwi and Sidney. Mom started laughing as she went around the house picking everybody up. She said it was a good thing we finches were in our cage cause she'd have a hard time catching us. hehehe. Well after everybody went back to their cages mom started filling those boxes. You know it took her a super short time doing it too. So what do you think she did? Yep, got MORE boxes and tape. Sophie says that was fun to play with. For some reason mom didn't like Sophies help and put her back. Imagine that.
Well, it wasn't an exciting time ALL the time. Well, when Oats flew into the box, that was fun. hehehe When dad came home mom told dad all about Sophie's help. HELLO DOWN THERE
Aden looks up to see something strange in the sky. It flies but dos not flap any wings even though it has stubby ones. It circles the vote button a couple times then lands right on top of it. There is a screech of metal then all is quiet. A opening appears in the side of this flyen thing and a B&G Macaw waddles down a ramp.
"Hi Aden." it says. "Hope I did not scare yea. This is my Star Fleet Command surplus space shuttle. It is from the Enterprise NCC 1701D. I cant fly myself so this is what I use to get around BC and the Solar System. It is real fast to. I can be from one side of BC to the other in the blink of a eye. I hope my vote counts fof BOTD."
The B&G looks under the shuttle and turns her head from one side to the other with its beak on the ground "It looks OK to me. Let me know if it dont work after I leave and I will have Scotty bring you a new one pronto."
Stop by the Kissing Booth and see the Tiel that is there. Her name is Butterball. Every birdie needs more kisses.
"Have a nice day in the castle tomorrow" the Macaw says as it waddles back into the shuttle. The ramp closes and the strange flyen thing takes off strait up with no sound and is out of sight in the blink of a eye.
Aden is so amassed with the whole encounter that he did not even get to thank the strange Macaw for the vote or ask for a name. “Just who was that strange Macaw”, he asks.Come visit me, George, mourning my Gracie 4-9-2013, Now Occupied By Apache!
