Actually, his name isn't Spot. It is Patriot. :) And yes, they are both my new flock members. Patriot has been here since the 4th of July and Alvin came last week. He doesn't really like Patriot or I very much, but that isn't going to stop me from trying to make friends with him.

Sorry I have been offline for a bit. Holiday weekend has kept Mom really busy, plus she had guests for the weekend. Wow, it was hectic but now almost over.
Today they are going to have a dedication service for the Veteran's memorial in the little city park. It is a very neat memorial for such a small town.
Hope you had a great weekend and mom says when this is all over I can have more computer time.

Yeah, mom has tried carob although she doesn't know if I can have it. But she said it is like eating margarine instead of butter - but mom has taken to eating "I can't believe it's not butter" She said it's almost the same as butter. Not so with carob - she is a died in the wool chocolate lover. Hershey's to be exact.
