 My vet. had gotten him from someone that could no longer care for him. The previous owner had gotten very ill and Cooper got very depressed and lonely so he plucked himself to keep occupied. When I was visiting the vet with one of my other birds for a yearly checkup the vet asked me, if I would like to adopt another bird? She had Cooper brought out to me and I spent some time with him and saw how well behaved he was, I also noticed that he loves to talk even though I hadn't the foggiest idea of what he was saying, I did adopt him. When I call him by his name he will say, What! When I ask him if you want to come out, he will say, Why not! We have been together for about 2 weeks now and we are learning from each other daily and I find him to be very amazing and loving him more and more each day.. |

Hi Cooper! I'm so glad you found such a nice person to adopt you after your Mom became sick. I'm Seymour, and I'm a Hahn's MaCaw too. I'm 18 but I've never said a word. I do make the sound like good bird..and I am! I have an African Grey as my buddy. His name is Adoff and both of us are adopted too.Come visit me, Adoff & Seymour.

Welcome to Bird Channel and welcome to your new (hopefully forever) home!! I'm sorry your last Mommy got sick, but I'm sure she loves you a lot but just couldn't take care of you like you need to be taken care of.
I'm a Hahn's too but I'm only 4 years young. Ha Ha
My Mommy is very very good to me but I guess I'm very very good to her too!!! We talk a lot to each other and she makes me laugh sooo much. I don't like to be misted either but I really like to take showers with my Mommy!!!
