My mom has always wanted to be owned by an African Gray. So the year she got married her husband bought me for her when he was only 3 weeks old.
I know I have a girl's name but the breeder who sold ne to my mom to her I was a girl, she didnt find out that I was a boy until I was 4 years old but since I was used to my name I like it and most the time mom calls me Chas

Hi! My name is Chastity

I am an African Grey from Flint, MI.

Everyone calls me Chas

21 years old   M

African Grey

Fruit Loops and a little bit of milk!

I love it in the laundry room. I get to help out in shaking out the socks before they get washed.

The 2 female African Grays named Lissa and Alexis that chase me around trying to share their food with me. YUCK!! I know all they want to do is steal a kiss from me.

I know my owner will never give me away, I will be with her for as long as I live. I will not a statistic of an unwanted or abused Parrot.

I like to go sleep in the bedroom closet..

Living in Exotic Colors.

  Kelly back again!
Chas! Life must be as busy for you there as it has been for me here. Well, my Mom's been busy anyway. Me; not so much. I've just been waitin' around for her to get done with whatever it is she thinks is more important than writing to my friends on the bird pages!! Wish that woman would get her priorities right! Say, I've been around and meet all of the birds at your house that also have a webpage! Wow, that's a great feathered family you have! Lots of Greys for company, even a DYH Amazon! I thought I was going to have to share my perches with one of those not too long ago but he ended up being able to stay with his first family. I've got a Grey and a Macaw here as company myself, along with a couple of smaller birds. And in my opinion, those smaller birds are the 'pestier' ones! They're always flyin' over to my space and checkin' out what's left in the seed bowl! Let me assure you, they don't get but a few moments time before I run them off! I've seen their houses, (I admit, I invade their space on occasion too!) they've got plenty to eat right in their own house! Well, just wanted to let ya know I was thinkin about you and am hoping your weekend's a good one. I've got a couple of new pictures on my page so if you flap on over you can see that I'm helpin' with the Corn Harvest! Take care, Chas! K 'v'

Come visit me, Kelly *v*.

Kelly here! You know, the one with the beautiful eyes. Or maybe it was the flowers that you thought were beautiful? Anyway, stoppin' by to say Hi! One reason you came to mind today was that my Mom came home sayin' she say Fruit Loops at a breakfast bar at the motel she was stayin' at and thought of you! She thought about swipin' a handful of them to bring to me but ended up deciding not to. I'm thinkin' she would've nibbled on them herself and they'd've been gone long before she made it back home to me! So, I guess I'll have to hope you got to enjoy some at your house instead. Hope you'll enjoy one or two for me! I think I'd like the yellow ones best. Do you have a favorite color or flavor? If I ever do get some, I'll always think of you when I eat them! All is well here at my place. It's not so hot outdoors which is ok. The cornfields around my house are about to harvested so if I go outdoors to my aviary I have to hope Mom will come and rescue me if those big metal monsters decided to rumble through. They come within three feet of my walk-in cage which is WAY TOO close. I'd die of a heart attack if I happened to in that cage when those noisy machines went by! Yikes! I see you live in MI. I'll bet it's beautiful where you're at; lots of trees? Hills? Lakes? Mom tells me she used to live in MI as a baby...she has no memory of it but the pictures show lots of snow in the wintertime. Bet you don't go out much during that season! It gets cold here on the west side of Illinois but we're lucky to get much snow. Lots of wind. It blows what little snow we do get to ... well, probably to MI! Let's not think about snow just yet. I love fall; it's still warm enough outdoors to hang out in the trees while Mom tidies up the yard for winter. I can pull leaves off the branches and not get a dirty look for it. Hey, Mother Nature's throwin' a lot of leaves on the ground, why shouldn't I help out! Hope all is well at your place. Take care, Handsome Boy! K 'v'

  Kelly here!
If us Greys can blush, well then, I'm blushing, considering your kind comments about my eyes! You are one handsome Grey yourself. You look very sharp among the Impatients there in your opening photo. Had to chuckle at the picture of you on the stove! My stove is almost identical to yours and I am often guilty of standing in about the same position on mine! Mom warns me that I'm gonna get a shock one of these days when I walk on there when a burner is still warm but I give her a look that says she must be nuts to think I'd be goofy enough to do something that human-like. This bird's brain is wiser than she gives it credit for! In the last 10 days I've not been anywhere near the stove 'cause Mom's been away and I've been stuck in my cage in her absence. No one will let me out for fear something might happen to me. Mom calls home and insists on hearing each of us parrots speak to her so she knows we're ok! I tend to just want to bite the phone but at least she knows I'm just fine when she hears this crunching noise in her ear! Looks like you like spaghetti as does this little person in the picture with you! I've never considered using the washing machine's services to clean up with after eatting spaghetti but it's not a bad idea. There was a cat here once that liked to sleep in the washer. That ended when somebody accidently closed the lid on him and he had to yowl to get out! Funny, if you ask me. Well, Chas, I'm sure glad you dropped in on my page. I can understand why Lissa and Alexis want to kiss you; You're a good lookin' guy!! Take care! K 'v'

  Cool Pic!
Chastity, your opening picture is awesome! And you're a lucky bird, to know that you'll always be a wanted and loved bird! You oughta be able to sleep soundly with that knowledge! Cute that you sleep in the bedroom closet. I've got a Macaw buddy that sleeps in a walk-in closet so that he's not disturbed ('cause otherwise he gets grumpy!). Welcome to the birdie pages...from another Grey... and a friend of Stormy!

Come visit me, Kelly *v*.
