 My Nana, who was my best friend, passed away. I was so sad and lonely, and my husband knew I had always wanted a macaw. We went to a breeder and found just the right baby. He has such a special place in my heart because he made my heart whole again. He knows when to come make me laugh, when to cuddle, and always makes me smile. I can't imagine myself without him!. |

Hi! My name is Phoenix
I am a Macaw from Greenacres, FL.

Shelled nuts of any kind, especially pecans. Birdie bread with lots of fruit (I sneak in some veggies too!) and
 His 3 big climbing nets and PVC playgym located in my bedroom.
 He hates it when I use my phone or computer, because he just has to be the center of attention! He will wiggle his way under my chin and get in the way so I cannot type or talk on the phone :-)
 Phoenix loves all the toys mommy makes for him, and he especially loves to help mommy cook birdie bread, chop fruits and veggies, and helps pick the herbs from the garden. He loves going out on a harness with mommy to the flea market and farmers market, we pick out fun toys and lots of treats!
 He loves to hang from his climbing net from one toe nail, and flap his wings to swing back upright. He also loves standing under the AC vent and flapping his wings in the breeze. He also loves staring at himself in the mirror, and does a happy dance, showing off to himself!.
