 Mommy was reading a book about good first birds for kids, and saw parrotlets (BTW, Mommy found out that they are NOT good first pets. They are very fiesty and are not at all like budgies) Her Mom found a breeder about twenty minutes from us, and kept it a secret until they went to see me for the first time, when I was just a hatchling. Zip loved me at first sight. He was starving for bird company other than his mirror :) After all of his wooing and singing, I decided that I hated him. I have to be in a certain happy mood to stand him, and that doesn't last long...I was hand fed, and I bonded with Mommy's mommy right away. She is the favorite, my chosen mate. I still like Mommy, though, 'cause she is the one who feeds me! Her Mom doesn't like me as much as Mommy likes me, though...

Oh, you mean that girl that feeds me? I LOVE her!!! She lets me make a nest in her hair and she doesn't get all freaked out when I leave her a little present...just cleans it up!

I know it is hard to plan a year in advance, but for your mom's school schedule would you rather run in May 2014 (the next summer slot) or June.
