Taking care of our flock
Good Day Oz,
I agree with you about taking care of birds. When you love your birds (like my Daddy love us), Cleaning up after us is a pleasure because of the love we give to daddy and the love Daddy gives to us. You are right about keeping a bird in a cage, there is a lot more to keeping birds then just the cage. My cage isn't a cage its my house and home.
Daddy makes us many toys to chew and to play with. He plays with us every day for hours on end and we love it. he has extra cages in another room for our nap time during the day and love that. I always say "it's nap time" when I want my nap and when one of the flock says it the rest start to say it to. Daddy reads bird talk, Birds USA, many books and sites on the internet so he can take better care of us and we love him for it.

It's your Friend, Oz. Thanks for stopping by the other day. My Mommy understands how time consuming it is taking care of us Birds. Between feeding, cleaning and paying attention to all of us, it does take up a lot of time. People that don't have Birds or Parrots think that it's no big deal, we should just be kept in a cage and fed. They really have NO ideal what we're all about and they shouldn't have any either. Mommy also says there's a place in hell for people who abuse Animals or Humans for that matter. Okay, here's another vote for you. You're just so beautiful yourself. You're such a cutie. My name is Oz and I'm a Rose Breasted Cockatoo. Mommy is my 3rd owner and she says that I'm now in my Forever Home. I'm so happy cause I really like it here. She also wants to know if I know that I'm a Cockatoo cause I'm sweet and very quiet. What does she mean by that? Want to be Friends? I'm telling of our move from the west to the east as well..WHAT IS HE HINTING OR SOMETHING?...
part 16...Yep, Jay, skin sis' hubby, said he wanted to take mom and dad house hunting today.SEE YA LATER GUYS! AH quiet! We don't mind the kids now but it is still nice not having them run and all. I mean, after all, even Sophie is quiet for now. This warmth sure makes me sleepy. *YAWN* Needless to say, we all enjoyed a great day and our wild cousins keep coming closer. One will even get right in front of our cage and eat what we toss out to her. She's still a chick and is quite talkative.She's been telling us all about this neighborhood and what we can expect. She's really sad to hear we aren't moving in for good. We told mom we wanted to adopt her but mom says that she's a healthy little girl and will be just fine in the wild.
Well mom and them get home after being gone nearly the full day and they don't look happy. Guess we stay around here a bit longer.
