I was begging my mom for a lovebird and saw her at the petstore ripping paper end throwing it at customers. I begged my mom so a week later for an Easter present(easter bunny must have been rich that year:)) she was still there and defended me from other people, by throwing seed at them , and protected me from othwr birds by biting them. That's how I got my little Sweet Pea..

Hi! My name is Sweet Pea

I am a Peach-Faced Lovebird from Rochester, NY.

I call her Sweety Pie, Sweety, Cutie Pie, and Cutie.

7 years old   F

Peach-Faced Lovebird

She loves fresh apples, nutra puffs, dries banana chips, dried pineapple, and dried papaya chunks to throw at people who come to close to her cage.

Her rope perch, her lava stone, her concrete perch, and of course, the food dish.

She hates loud noises, people besides me and she hates realizing she can't go through the window.

I love my owner because he always makes sure to cut my apple at just the right size(not an easy task, I'm picky:) always pays attention to me when he comes in the room. And lets me out for an hour a day to explore his room and play with him. And my owner never lets that scary little hamster come near me. He also lets me talk to my bug brother, Buzz. Although, I do get jealous!

She loves to hang upside down, shake her head with a toy like a dog, perch on top of her swing instead of on it, make a nest in her food dishes, TRY to make a nest in her water dish until she realizes it's too wet, and dance to the village peoples' YMCA..

I have my owner wrapped around my wing..

  Hi Sweet Pea
couldn't help but stop by and say hi to such a pretty bird as you! We are from Rochester, NY too, so fly by sometime and say "hi". Boy do we understand that hampster thing. Our human brother has 3 rats that look at us like we are a sunflower seed to them! But they are actually pretty nice to us, they have to stay in their cage though while we are out, and can only come out and play when our human brother comes home from school and he can sit and watch them. Well, welcome to the channel, have fun, hope to see you around sometime...

Come visit me, Argos, Alula, Dusty Rose, Buddy, Pumpkin, Crocket & Tweety.

  Hi from Chi Chi
Hi Sweet Pea, and welcome to Bird Channel! Your quirks and habits sound hilarious, and it certainly seems you have your owner wrapped around your wing (or little toe, if you prefer). Your colouring is beautiful. Take care!

Come visit me, Fido.
