i"m on meds now 4 diffrent ones , since i ate metal, and have a bacterial infection,and i ahve 4 clubs now,

Thanks for flying by!! Sorry I've been MIA a bit this month. Mom is keeping busy with the holiday preparations and get-togethers, so she hasn't been online as much.
But, I wanted her to fly by my friends' pages here on BC to tell them I said "hi" and wish them a great Christmas this coming week (only 8 more days!!)
I hope Santa Bird brings me something nice (and that I didn't get on the "Naughty List" for the times I get a bit grouchy)!!

I think Mom said we're going to try to be at the party tomorrow night (Saturday). I hope to see you there, too!!
Don't worry about not being able to get online too much, because my mom's been gone a lot this week (doing Physical Therapy on her sore foot from a running injury), and hasn't had much time on BC--but I told her I didn't want my friends to think I didn't care, so she had to come on and say "hi" for me! (I really can say "hi", too. It's my favorite word to say!!) :o)

You're right--sometimes we just like to bite when we don't feel well. Thankfully, I've been doing better and haven't bitten Mom since that one day. She's making sure I'm in a better mood before trying to get me to "step up", too.

Happy 11/11/11!!
Mom's been super busy this week, but she wanted me to fly by and leave a vote and tell you that I'm feeling a little better now. She's been keeping the blinds closed and keeping it darker in my room. I'm still a little "grumpy", but she's been able to take me out to play like usual, which is nice for both of us!
I'm still kind of moody and protective around my cage, but otherwise I'm behaving myself! :o) Thanks for your input and concern and advice. Mom also did some research online, and it definitely seems that I have/had all the signs of wanting to mate. Hopefully it will pass completely soon, and I'll be my usual charming self! :o)

Guess what? I was a naughty boy today! Mom thinks I might be wanting to mate or something, because I'm not acting like myself at all. She was hoping maybe your mom could offer some advice if she has any, since she hasn't dealt with this in a bird before (other than what she's read in the birdie books).
This morning, when she came in to get me and get my vegetables ready (like she usually does), I had my beak open ready to attack, I puffed out my feathers, and I had my tail flared out, and I snapped at her. I even bit her finger through the cage, and then I sat back on my perch and laughed! Mom said that was really naught, because I made her finger bleed!
I was also screaming out (which I rarely do, unless I need food), and so she heard that I needed my room darker if this was hormonal and related to breeding/mating behavior. Once she closed the blinds in my room and covered the cage, I settled down and got quiet. She took the cover off a little later when it got darker outside naturally.
Tomorrow she is hoping I am a bit better after my day of "calming down", but any advice you can give to help Mom with my "temper tantrum" would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Too funny about your new word (but not about your mom's toe on the shower door)! What did your mom think of your word?
That's cool that Khloe had her 2-month anniversary the same day I did! Very neat that we came to our homes on the same exact day!
My mom put a violin CD on this morning, and for some reason I thought it was hysterical. I kept laughing, and that made my family laugh, too. They never knew violin music could be so funny!

Just flying by with a "hi" and a BIG THANK YOU for helping me get BOTD today--how exciting!!!!! Mom gave me a new treat today--BLUEBERRIES! She said it was to celebrate my special day. She also said I looked cute with the blue all over my beak and called me "blueberry beak"!

Thank you SO SO much for trying to help me get BOTD yesterday. I haven't met Chyna yet, so I didn't realize people were going there to meet her. I will have to fly by her page to meet and congratulate her!
Mom felt a little sad at first when she saw I didn't make it, but everyone here on BC has been so sweet and encouraging that she couldn't stay too sad for long!
Sugar says we will run again tomorrow (Monday, 10/31), so if you want to stop by and say "hi" then, that would be great!!
