It was good to hear from you again. How's the weather in IL these days? It is beautiful down here. My mom had me outside at the breakfast table this morning. My mom's human daughter is expecting her second boy on Tuesday morning, so my mom is driving to the other side of Florida to help out for a week. She was going to take me along, but now she said I can stay home with my dad.Come visit me, Echo.

I had an older brother Pepe, who is a Blue front amazon with colors like yours. He was older, and the yellow had gotten more plentiful the 8 years my dad and mom had him. He went to the Rainbow Bridge March of 06. He was at least 6 years old when mom and dad got him. He was real laid back like you, and may his share of noises. I'll have my dad put a picture of him on my blog. We adopted my sister, Skippy, a Lilac crown amazon, to help dad cause he missed Pepe alot...Oscar Come visit me, Skippy, Oscar & Sugar.

I'm here for a short visit Ray-Ray. How have you been? Hope you are having lots of fun these days. I sure am - and I get so much loving from mom - she is just one big push over! All I have to do is get in her lap upside down and she treats me like a little tiny baby, it's so fun. Tell all your other flock members hello for me as I have to go now, mom has to go to town and take her mom to get her hair done - girls - ya'll have so much different stuff to do than us guys!

Your sure a pretty Amazon and look to be just my type. Let me explain, someone to talk to in bird talk and you would understand me. My mom got me at a pet store here in town. She was looking for a bird that talked and not too over powering. She is intimated by McCaws. So I got to come home with her. The first time home I felt right at home in my new cage. I even started to whistle the first day. I could make the sound of a cell phone and it drove my new owner nuts. I would just laugh at her. I now can laugh out loud and mimic my owners laugh which makes her laugh even more. I love to please my owner she is good to me and gives me treats for being good. NO didn't hear about the birds stolen in NY? ! :( That is so sad! I know alot like what happened to the birds where I was bought at. :( I HOPE they find them. Don't why I didn't hear about it on cnn or local news. Let us know what they find out ok, We will pray for them. OH SO you SAW MY VID of me beating the green monster hahah Yeah mommy did not know what to put for a better attractive titel to get it more attention cause it still makes mommy laugh even after all the years I have been doing it. hee hee. Thanks for the congrats. Yeah I love to stick my head in and pick my own. I do that with the cheez-its when daddy lets me. I won't eat the zuprem but Angel will. It came with the gift. I only eat Kaytee pellets. Angel gets the zuprem natural, and fruity and mommy is trying to get her to also eat the prettt bird brand pellets for greys which has higher calcium she needs. I love the avain entres. No haven't tried the chili peppers one yet, but sure I would like it. I love how you and your new mom came together. I was adopted too, I'm at my third home (it better be my last!) and I really like it here. I agree with you that adoption isn't for everyone, but many of us in rescues are there not because of any fault of our own. Kuddos to your mom for giving you a loving new home! SORRY ABOUT YOUR LOSS
The loss of your friend (Angels') mom. We have lost so many in our family to that awful cancer. So sad. We saw a blog that we had blogged on her page. That pic of her mom kissing Angel is so prescious. I left them a message on there too. Thankyou for letting me know. From what you said the guy at the sanctuary said, sounds like Angel is doing ok. SO sad, a bird that went through so much then losing again. She had done alot for her. I will say a prayer for the family and again sorry for your pain too. Looks like you knew eachother in person. What is it with Grey's? Wisdom's making my life difficult by loving all the dollar store toys that mom buys for us. His favorite toy in the whole world right now is an orange fish rattle that mom got for a dollar and he ignores the 30 dollar toy she bought him on Saturday from the pet store! For me, the more expensive the toy, the more I like it! He's making me look like a diva! It's so awesome that you're getting along with Sunny better! That's great news! I love almonds, too! I take almonds right from mom's hand but Wisdom is still too chicken to take food from the hand. Mom keeps trying, though. - PepperChristina, Brampton, Ont., AE.

My name is Echo. I'm a Blue Front too. Although many people say I'm a Yellow Wing, which is a sub species of Blue Front. We have a little more yellow on our shoulders than a Blue Front. You look just like me. You might be a Yellow Wing too. How cool. I was a rescue bird too. I bit and nipped for about 3 months. Then I gave up because everybody still loved me anyway. It was more fun to be cuddled than pushed away. You look much younger than me. No one knows how old I am. I was a captured bird. The vet told my mom they stopped importing parrots in 1990, so I'm at least 17-18. It sure is good to have a nice home, isn't it? I like your pictures. I have a few on my web page too. I don't talk much, but I love to sing. How about you?Come visit me, Echo.
