The new dude, Shelby, has definitely wormed his way into mom's heart. Last night he happily stepped up on her and then he gave her not 1, but 3 beakie kisses. Oh yeah, it's all over now, that works like magic!

June gloom? That sounds kinda depressing. Our spring is always a mixed bag, a little unpredictable, until we get settled into summer's hot temps. That's usually when it stays cooler in the city (San Francisco) and really the nicest time to be there.

We have cooler temps - yay! Sadly, the guessers say triple digits by the weekend - boo! Spring is always so wishy washy here. Suppose it doesn't really matter much, pretty soon it's going to be just plain hot. Very thankful for air conditioning!

Today is Wednesday. We are blogging one day late because the parront was very busy yesterday. Next week she will be very busy so we don't know yet if we will be able to blog. Hopefully we will. Lets keep our wings crossed. heee.

So sorry for being absent for several days. It's going to be that way for at least another week. Mom's got the grands and they literally keep her hopping all day. With the grands, company, dad's hatchday, mom's hatchday tomorrow AND the new fid who arrived Saturday and must be in quarantine, mom barely has time for anything. She's enlisted the help of dad (who has the day off, sort of) today so she can at least explain the situation. We love you all and miss you very much and hope you will understand and be patient with us!
A shout out to our troops fallen in battle and those are serving present and past with a special nod to mom's dad, 89 years old beginning of June, who served with honor in the European theatre during WWII and is a purple heart and bronze star recipient. "I love you dad and am so very proud of you!"

I admit to being a bit nervous. I watched Remy's first game today against Athena's team and the little Keets won.

Athena told your fister Emmie that she thinks you'll be stellar by the time you announce your first game. I think so too, you're certainly putting everything you've got into it.
Super, dude, you got clean cages and bird room too. Now squawking at each other - that's the best! Way to go.
Skin bro turned 30 today and was here yesterday for dinner. He's very sweet to us and the dogs and it makes mom and dad very happy when he's here so it was a nice visit. On Monday, skinsis turns 33. Mom keeps wondering where the time has gone, certainly gone by very quickly that's for sure!

I wanted to blog to stay in touch. Mom is a bit under the weather but we want to at least say hello to all our wonderful BC buddies since we were gone this weekend.
We had a nice change in our weather - from hot to a nice cool down, maybe even some rain. Not much new here to share. The weekend was unremarkable. Sure hope yours was fabulous. We'll squawk soon!
