I thought my 1st budgie Desmond (yellow) might like to have a friend. After visiting PetCo for a second time, I decided that bringing home a blue budgie would be perfect! So I adopted Llewellyn!.

Being without Desmond by his side.

Llewellyn found his furever home on July 29, 2011. Sadly Llewellyn passed away on February 20th, 2012. Llewellyn had fun playing with his friends and toys, he enjoyed his flight time every day. He was a beautiful strong flier with gorgeous blue and black wings. I miss him very much...

Llewellyn loved to follow Desmond around, so much so that he would sometimes fly straight at Desmond and accidentally nudge him off his perch! He also sat so close to Desi on their swing that Desi had to rearrange himself or swing his leg up on the side of the seat. Big Blue also had extremely large feet for a budgie! They were very cute. Even though Llewellyn was a lot bigger than Desmond, he would often scrunch down just to be the same height or smaller than Desi!
