 My cousin (the same one that gave me Hiccup) knew someone that didn't want their birds anymore. Cousin couldn't take them so she asked me if I wanted Alvin. I originally said no but then I did end up getting him. He is a really sweet bird!. |

Hey Alvin
Thanks for the hatchday and BOTD wishes. We had a great hatchday party last weekend full of tons of food and fun. This year was a fiesta and we had special Mexican birdie bread. All of our birdie friends came to visit and momma took pictures of all of us birds on the big table chowing down on all the food. The humans kept drinking this yellow stuff they called Margaritas. They all started acting silly but wouldn't let us have any. Momma had special mushy stuff for Jade to eat too so she wouldn't be left out. We are so proud of her. It was Merlins first hatchday party at our house and he ate so much he could barely walk afterwards. We all had a great time. Can't wait til next year.

Hey Alvin
Yesterday was a fantastic day for opening the pool! Mom had a wonderful time, greeting her summer friends and sitting awhile in the sun. She even got into the water, almost unheard of this early in the year. It was in the upper 80s though, and a great day to dip one's toes, not to mention the rest into the pool. Today she's off to celebrate Mother's Day with her daughter and grands. I know, it's a little late, but they all hate going out on Mother's Day, and besides, mom wasn't even here.
