I am a Pearl Mutation Cockatiel from Brook Park, OH.
 The Queen, Pudge

 Pearl Mutation Cockatiel
Millet, veggies, Rice Chex, and whatever the humans are eating. She will go to great lengths to try to snatch a gulp of coffee!
 The top of the bookcase, people's heads, and the chest of whoever is willing to scratch my neck
 My cagemates
 They give me the utter homage and devotion that a Queen deserves!
 She's nosy - has to be a part of every activity. We call her "the Queen" because she truly believes she is the center of the universe!
She won't poop on us. If she's on my shoulder, she will walk down my arm, turn around so her tail's hanging off the edge, and let loose.
She loves water and has to be shooed away from the sink when water's running. Bath day is her favorite day.
She "air surfs" - loves to perch in front of a fan, spread her wings, and bob up and down. (see picture in gallery with wings spread).
 Will it hurt me? Can I eat it?.

Our bird club meeting went really well and after Arthur settled down, he did okay also! He did a lot of growling, barking, and wolf whistles, crazy bird! My Raiders play their first game tomorrow, and I am cautiously optimistic about our chances! Win or lose, we shall use this game as a learning experience and build from it! Hi Annie~
I hope you are having a wonderful day. I've got the gardeners here to watch. They are outside my window mowing the lawns! Pretty soon Mandy will be woofing to go out just because she likes to smell the fresh cut grass! Mom takes her for a walk everyday and Mandy has decided she likes to walk down to the Starbucks. Do you suppose it's the scones they sell? I always share my scones with her so maybe she figured she just go down there and get us some! I like the way she thinks!!
Mom already went to the market before I even got up! The store is open 24 hours a day. It's less crowded early in the mornings but mom has to put up with freight on the floor and the floor scrubber being used. Since she works nights at a store, she is use to that stuff.
She got me some pecans so I'm looking forward to my snack! I'll be having apples and pecans today! Yum!
I'll be supervising the chores later on and letting mom know how she should do stuff! We all know our parronts would be lost without us!!

I hope all is well at your house! I'm doing just fine today. I am on my t-stand doing a little wiggle thing that I do and chatting up a storm. I'm very happy this morning! Yesterday I was being a bit quiet and mom actually got worried that something was wrong with me!! I got loud later so she knew I was okay!Hahahahahaha
She always tells me that I get way too loud and then when I'm quiet she starts to worry!! There is no pleasing the woman!

I'm so happy you like your ring! I wasn't sure what type of stone you'd like so I took a guess on emeralds. I think you'd look nice in rubies also!
I know your typist has been super busy. I'm so happy that I heard from you though - it made my day! Think I'll do some squawks of happiness as I sit out here on my porch. Mom rescued a baby lovebird out of the aviary yesterday - it had fallen from its' nest and the adults had pecked it's little head and back. It is older than when she rescued Kiwi who was only 3 weeks old - this one is about 2 months old and has feathers. It has taken to handfeeding quickly.
And Picabo escaped his cage one (dad left the food door open) when my parronts were at the vet and attacked little lovebird Lima. He tore her beak entirely off (the top) and it was unable to be reattached! She has now adjusted well and feeds herself and is tenderly cared for by her mate Limon. Tomorrow mom gets a baby dove that fell from a very high nest at a friends' house. More handfeeding!
I have missed you so much! I'm so glad you had fun on our private island trip. And I just love how the lilacs smell. We don't have them here so it's a treat!
The fritatta is delicious. I brought you a chicken empanada since it's empanada day!
Let's sit outside and smell the lilacs and watch the butterflies....

How are you? I hope the day is going great! It's so pretty up here! We've had sunshine and nice warm weather for days now and I am enjoying it so very much!

I've been playing with a new toy this morning and now I'm taking a break for some apple and almonds.
Baseball starts next Monday! It's going to be so exciting! I can't wait to be sitting in the stands and sharing snacks with my friends again!
Your picture is just beautiful! I have on orginal painting done by Aunt Maddy and I just love it. It is on the wall right across from my cage so I can admire it all the time!!

Good to hear from you, hiss on all of them, heehee. What a day! Mom trained at the center this morning, had a new person on her first day, then came home, did a quick change and left for the museum. At the museum, it was Senior Citizen's day, and there were tons of seniors to tour Dinosaur hall and Gem and Mineral hall, so mom did 3 tours there. They had 6 docents, and each of them did 2 or 3 tours, so there were a ton of people! Mom's people liked their tours, though, so she was happy with that. It's a beautiful day out, but we won't get outside unless mom finishes our blogs soon. Hope you are having a good day. Glas everything is going well there and know your mom will be happy when she gets the masters too. Yesterday the parronts were busy and in and out a lot. They took the one grand that comes here once a month to the environmental building for open house for a while. Later they took that grand and another grand up to the farm where dad grew up to see grandma. They grands had a fun time and saw cows, pig, baby chicks, 2 big goats and 5 little baby goats and 2 ferrets and some dogs and cats too.. The ferrets are pets and the baby chicks will be to lay eggs. It is a big dairy farm so lots of space. Dads brother and nephew had the tractors running to do plowing and planting crops to feed the animals. On the way home dad and mom took the grands to eat at a restaurant and then stopped at another skin sis house to visit a bit. There they played with the two boxer dogs and walked in the creek a bit. Sounds lie your mom is very busy so I can understand how BC time gets cut back.
That silly tweet teasing all of you like that he sounds like me teasing the chickadees outside.I can do a perfect chickadee call and like to sit in the window and do it.Well normally they ignore me but last week when I was in the window a chickadee was calling and when I did it back he answered me back.we went back and forth for awhile with doing it.
I have been getting some nice work done in the bathroom and just recently I have been working on getting a nice patch of the paint ripped off the wall it looks great but of course my parronts dont think so.

I hope it is the best one ever! Mayday Mayday, that is not always a call for help, in this case it's just a happy greeting for our new month! Dad is going to take it a little easier today, he has been hitting it pretty hard and has rediscovered some dormant Winter muscles! The plan for today is to get our cherry tomatoes planted, and some okra in the side yard! Our outside aviary is almost ready, and dad has an old cage to carry Ziggy in and out, he is so small, he could escape through the spaces in our aviary! I will be taking Offlee Wild out for a good workout today, he's a great horse! Have a nice day, give my love to all in your home...

I haven't heard from you in a while. How are you doing lately?
It has been raining lately. The airport is slow. She only works 25 hours a week now. Oki and I have been free more time however when she is at home she is doing household shores. She is always busy. Oki and I spent most of the time preening our feathers.

I do hope you are having a wonderful day! I'm doing just fine. Not much going on around here today. Dad has been cleaning out the storage room to make it into a workshop so mom and I have lots of stuff to find a place for. Mom says some of it can just be sent off to goodwill but it will be interesting to see where she is going to put the rest of it! Mom says that if we haven't used it for a while, it is really time to get rid of it. You can tell that mom doesn't like clutter!

I hope your day is going great! It's pretty quiet around here. Mom and I are watching the last Harry Potter movie! It's very exciting but very sad too!
It's still cool and rainy here. It got warm for a few days and then went back to being cold again. That is why we had the avalanches up in the mountains. They do avalanche control all the time up there but they had no warning for these avalanches. At least it's closed down now so everyone will be safe.
Mom cleaned my cage out before I even got up this morning! I think that was pretty sneaky of her!! It does look very nice and I have a new toy so I guess it's time to mess it up again! You know we like our cages just so!!

Hello Annie~
I hope you are having a wonderful day. Kinda slow news day around here. Mom is doing laundry and I am eating apples! I don't mind it being quiet as long as I get to hang out with mom.
Mom got me a bunch of new books from the library so I have been enjoying them. Mom didn't find anything to read but she didn't have a lot of time to hang out there. She'd spend hours there if she could! It's always such a peaceful place.
Mom figured out how to capture pictures from video and other pages where you don't have the save option. She was able to save my avatar in my picture file! Now she is going nuts looking for videos. I'm sure most of the world already knows how to do this but it's a big thing for mom!

Stopping by to wish you, the family and the flock a very Happy Easter! I hope you all get to spend the day together and just enjoy being a family!
Mom has to work the entire weekend including tonight, so we are getting some of the stuff for dinner cooked today. Tomorrow I get to help color eggs and I just can't wait! I hate eggs but it sure is fun to color them!

Hello Annie~
How are you? I hope all is well! I've been busy helping with spring cleaning and so far it has been fun. Mom and I are finding all sorts of strange things in the drawers around here. Dad actually has 6 extra computer mice stashed! Who needs 6 extras???
It is still cool here but it was sunny for part of the day. We just put the fireplace on to warm up the living room and look out the window and pretend that it is really spring! Mom can't wait for a warm day so that she can open some windows up around here. Right now when she opens the window in the bedroom, she has to put the heat on before she takes me in there!!
