  Hey Yall!
That's great! Leaving music on like that, they like especially if your gone for a while! And the best of all scince your working everyday You have 2 budgies which means that the other one wont be alone! That was good that you got 2! And leaving some music from you i pod is good too, any music is fine really just not nothing to heavy you know , more on the softer side is good! They will eventually eat out of your hand, just give them time, say everyday put your palm out with a their snack on it( say a spray millet piece) and if they pull away, then just try again, gently don't force! When you wake up in the morning and hear them chirp some or throughout any part of the day is a wonderful start! That means they're getting used to the evrionment and the ppl around them( especially you the owner) and they will start getting more and more comfortable like i said! It's great that you have play areas outside the cage! If you go up to them and they try to bite, that means dont mean they are mad it just means that they are protecting their mate or mainly their teritory!!! Lean their body languages and respect it! It took me a little while to learn it! And magazines and infro from this site can help! You can also ask me, if you want lol!Usually when your bird might bite you that could mean as well that they are scared and couldnt flee! But like i said its cause they are protecting their teritory and want to be left alone at the moment! It's ok my bird does it still! Getting them to eat out your hand is a great way to bond!! This is only you 5th day, just think you have a while to go eventually they will fly to you! Leave them out of their cage some ,say on the weekend let them have the access to come and go!! If you play bird sounds on the computer they will come to it! AFter they get used to everything of course , it took me some time too! A good thing i do is walk up and talk them , like say hello , how are ya, what ya doing, Your a prettybird, and stuff like that! Get to know them! Thats a good way

Come visit me, Prettybird.

  Hello Han!
Well when i got prettybird, It was exactly last year on september 2! When i brought her home she wouldnt get out! But after the next 2 days i woke up to hear her chirping! She would stay happy in her cage and chirp, make noises and play with her toys little by little( cause i would buy more and more)! She still wouldnt come out of her cage till eventually i picked her up real careful and just kinda let her fly around the house to get used to it more! AFter a couple of months of doing that she would come out of her cage a while and when through playing around she would get back in! after a few months she just started getting out on her own! Now she stays out just about constantly! I even have her a play gym/house set up for her with ladder, and mirrors, and toys! She hangs out on that alot! It took her afew days to get used to the new toys i bought her! She only goes in her cage to get water and eat now! But sometimes i have to keep her in her cage if im doing something that day where im in and out constanly, she will play with her toys in her cage! Blah blah lol! If you give your budgies time and just to keep doing what your doing they will get attatched to you and more comfortable with things more and more everyday! Eventually she will come to you w/out you even trying to get her to come to you! If you put your hand close to her and she wnats to be left alone she will snap at you sometimes! When i do that she does it but sometimes she thinks my finger is a toy and she is gentle sometiems! And sometimes, They will do that just to get the feeling of what your skin feels like and might even nibble to see what it taste like! But snapping , they want to be left alone, not that they dont love you or anything it's just that they like their privacy too, like we do sometimes!!! Spray millets, is their favorite! I have it where half of it is inside her cage and the other half is on the oustside so shen can play on her cage and snack!! Anyway just remember that what your doing is good! Never force them to do anything! Being nice, gentle and patient plus rewards like a new snack or something they like thats a snack , or just a simple rub, is the main key to this all! And before you know it they will be so happy and comfortable they will come to you! And when they are really happy they will fly around and chirp and play with their toys like heck if you have any outside the cage! If you have any more questions down the road just ask me! Vote for you

  Hello Han!
Thank you for letting me paint your portrait. I love Leia very much. She reminds me my bird Baby. She is very delicate creature and I would wait a little bit as I need to contemplate the idea of her portrait. Besides, she look so fragile. It should be eloborate work.

Come visit me, Jam, Win & Mirrabella.
