I am a Severe Macaw from Kalamazoo, MI.

Dante loves nuts,fruit, Nutriberries,fr- uit and vegetable juice, popcorn. We are still discovering his preferences.
 My wife. He adores my wife and tolerates me.
 "All objects are to be feared." He allows petting only after he taps a person's hand first. He hates noise.
 "My female human companion is SO wonderful; just like the lady who was my previous human friend. She plays games with me, sings with me, cuddles with me and shares her popcorn with me. In return, I protect her from that human male that she seems to like. She is mine; all mine." (Wings out and feathers fluffed out.)
 Dante is very slow to accept new people. He has many phobias: brooms,paper towels,phones,r- emote controls,paper,- etc. He only says "Hello" the first thing in the morning but not later. He loves to watch birds at the bird feeder and says, "What's that?" when he sees them..

I'm Seymour, a Hahn's Macaw. I was adopted from another family too when I was 6, and now I'm 18! I'm kinda like you....I have my ways, and I won't chang'em. Like I MUST be covered up at 7pm...or 5pm when the time changes back. I MUST have my Apple Jacks in a certain bowl in the morning, so I can dunk them in my water bowl and eat them nice and proper...if not I will squawk and squawk until it's done correctly.
It was nice meeting you. Come visit me and my friend Adoff, the African Grey. My family adopted him too when he was 1 1/2.
