 My husband bought Squeak when she was a baby..and 6 years ago I met Squeak and her two brothers. .everyone talked bad about Squeak saying, "Don't get close, she will bite if you're a woman"..and they all had bite stories and scars to prove it. I figured out that Squeak only needed her space and that there are boundaries, and if you learn the rules, and respected her, you would be fine..so I knew the Squeak needed me...and for her sake I married her daddy.. (She is that special). |

Hi, I'm a DYH too....you look just like me, but you have more yellow since your older than me. You sound just like me, except that my mom is my favorite. I let her mom take me out if my mom asks me to come over. I take the limo ride on the hand over to her. Once I step up to my mom's hand, I turn and try to bite the Limo driver..! :) If my mom is not home or away and her sister comes over, I let her take me out too! Anything for food honey! You know that saying...don't bite the hand that feeds ya. If I am out bonding with my mom, don't try to touch her or me....I'll bite my mom so that she can either leave or scold you for interrupting us. Hello Squeak, my mom met your mom on a yahoo group (I'm not sure what that is...) and so I thought I would indroduce myself. I love the story about how you too met. The first time my mom met me I tried to bite her, so she took me home that day. Go figure. I'm getting a little better. I'll step up for her but I still don't like to be touched, I prefer my space like you. Love the pictures by the way! Here is a vote, I'll talk to you later.

Thank you for your vote. Here is a vote for you. My mommy thinks you are a very pretty bird. She likes very bright & pretty birds like you & me. I don't have as much yellow on me right now because I am still just a baby, but my mommy is hopeing I will get as much yellow as you have & even more. Tell your mom my mommy said Hi. Mom found out today that you don't wear reading glasses, she got the grandiose idea to get me a pair of sun glasses! Imagine that???? lol
I voted for today because I think you are so much like me. Do you talk much? Only reason I ask.. have you seen the movie "Holiday"?
I just can't stop talking and I was hoping to meet my match like the girl in the movie, who met hers because he was a talker like her.. Wow what a handsome man he is.. I couldn't not stop whisling at him, Mom was irritated because I was whistling during her favorite movie, I try to keep it a secret that I have a crush on that actor.. whew..! "Shivver me timbers"!

Awe.. I love your pictures below.. You look almost exactly like me.. you are so right!
Mom takes me out each day.. well, okay.. so does Dad. Dads a worry wort when it comes to me flying away from home. Meanwhile, Mom does clip my wings, she knows Ican't get away to far..
And with all the other birds out there, I fell safer w/her then those 'strange birds' out there in the big world. lol.
Besides, I also think they are not so smart as they don't answer when I say.. "hi baby".. wonder what there problem is.. still trying to figure it out after being outside half the day?
I see you wear glasses?.. I wish I was cool like you.. you have your own set of reading glasses.. I've seen it all now.. ! White bread... ? I love whole grain Cracked wheat bread. Try it, you may like it too.
