 Our dear sweet gentle Beaky is dying of liver cancer...this is the most difficult thing we have ever gone through...she has been such a wonderful friend and companion. ..it's too hard to type any more...we found out she was female this year during her tests. |

So, you're in the prime. Glad to read that things seem good with you and that even some feathers are returning, you may have many more back by now. Has your Mom and Dad tried giving you Red Palm Oil to help with the feathers and skin condition. I've heard it does wonders, especially coupled with UV light from the sun or special lamp. It attacks the problem from two directions: physical, and emotional. Anyway, all the best, Beaky.Come visit me, Shannon.

I would love to see more pics of you. Mommy loves the COngos cause they are so big and fluffy.

Dear Beaky, Nice to meet another mature grey. I am about 16 years old. My human sister and I are almost the same age. She gets to drive a car, I get to climb on a play gym. Is that fair? I don't think so. I grew up in Florida, but my first dad was having trouble keeping up with all of my demands and care, so his daughter and family whisked me away to Missouri. I love it here, and now that it is getting warmer I get to go out on the screened in porch where the slaves have built me a great tree to climb around on. I am glad you have a great family to entertain. Where would they be with out us ???? Have a great day, ♥ TukiCome visit me, Tuki.

Hello Beaky
Just thought I'd fly by to say hi. You are almost as old as me. I was rescued by my new mommy two years ago, and she is great. Instead of being in a rusted shut cage, which told mommy, I was never let out, she bought me a cage and I get to get out and I go all over on it. I don't like being held or touched yet, but mommy plays with me and we do other fun things. She even tought me to talk a little. I even get to go camping and I love the outdoors. At night I get to be by the campfire, well, close enough to still see and enjoy it, and I will whistle when its dark and quiet out and other campers whistle back, it's so cool. It sounds like you have a great mommy too. Enjoy your freedom time and leave your feathers alone, that gives us our distinquished look. you are a lucky bird that you mommy came into your Family and showed you how nice it can be outside of the cage,believe me its the greatest thing :)i tryed once the upside down hanging and mommy was running to get the cam and take a pic,but guess what i tricked her and just was climbing up on my perch,next time she have to be much faster LOL,so i need to go for now,its my nap time,come and visit my oage too....
