 My husband saw a Hawk Headed Parrot several years ago in a zoo and he never forgot it.. about 3 years ago we saw one in a pet store and I was in love with it..at that time we decided that would be our next flock member, I didn't know they were hard to breed and that it was going to take a long time before we could even find one, and when we did find a breeder with them it was on the other side of the country, as luck would have it in 2006 we found a breeder in our area..with babies about to hatch (phew) that only took a few years LOL. |

Sweet Baby Hawk Head and Aunt Jeannie
Sadie here. Not sure if you heard the news. Dear Sweet Skittles from Houston Tx, my brother Spectra's girl friend passed away on Thursday. Mom got an email from Skittles mom last night. We have been asking everyone to go to Skittles page and vote for her so that hopefully the Bird Channel will make her Bird Of The week on Monday. Mom wrote a letter to the Bird Channel asking them to do that in her Honor. My brother Spectra has dedicated his page to her and he also has a memorial picture of her up on his page. Hope you get a chance to go and say a few words. You can go to Spectra's page and find her name in his blogs. Here is a vote for you. Thank you for my vote. When you go to your real home you will get your name then. My mom named my before I was hatched. She told my breeder mom what my name was so she could call me by my name from the very beginning. When My real mom came to get me I new my name. Wasn't that neet.
You look like me when I was a baby before I got all my feathers. my mom thinks you are just the cutest little guy. I know you will miss your breeder mom. But when you go to your new home your real parants will just spoil you rotten even more than your breeder mom has. I know because mine did. thanks for coming by,mommy calls me just for fun chicken,but i'm not at all,i can be a very big boy,especially if daddy its coming to close to me,then i growl and hiss at him and try to bite him,mommy says thats not really nice of me,but he i'm a big spoiled mommy boy after all,you are happy you already will have some birdfriends waiting for you,i just have two budgies here and they are always in the cage they are not tame at all,so mommy don't want let them out,she says she want run after them and try to catch them LOL,so i have to go now,mommy wanna go outsides with me and let me get some fresh air and sun,

i hope you will get soon a nice name,my daddy choose the name for me,he is a big Star Wars Fan and because of my color he picked Jango for me :)i met my parents the day they came to pick me up,but i know my breeder mommy and my new mommy was writing emails back and fore and my breeder mommy kept mommy always updated with pics too and i have no regrets about my new home,i'm one lucky spoiled mommy boy LOL,hope you can go home soon and enjoy your new parents...
