  Hello Kirmi
We are happy to meet you. We wish you well in your new home. If your mom really loves you she might go to Bird eUniversity and look at the section about Parrots Body Language. It should help. And hopefully you will not bite her anymore as we believe that parrots are precious and peaceful creatures. Bird Talk magazine also has articles on the subject of biting. Best wishes to you and Izzy. (Learning never hurts).

Come visit me, Jam, Win & Mirrabella.

  Hi Kirmi
Don't worry, you will get used to your new mom. It just takes time and patience. I still bite my mom from time to time, but it's usually if I am in a cranky mood which isn't often. You will learn to trust your new mom. We greys just have our own way of doing things! By the way, I LOVE peanuts too! Here's a vote for you. You are a beautiful grey!

Nice to meet you both Kirmi and Izzy!
Read that you bite, Kirmi. I do too when I get worried and I do off and on. Mom understands why tho and leave me alone those times. Next day all is well again. Hormons is also an issue + us Greys are a little distanced. Don´t worry, just take your time to get to know eachother and go slow, you have all the time in the world. I don´t step up my mom´s hands still. Came to her when I was 9 months, from the breeder and he was not nice to me as far as mom knows. I stepped up my first stick just a few years ago and I am now 19 :) Never give up and love eachother:)Momma will never give up on me. Birdchannel is a good Site for all the questions you might need too. And we are still learning too.
Good luck and have fun! Gave you and your roommate a votie:)

Come visit me, Dino.
