I researched how to train Quaker parrots for over a year, and saved money for over a year, until I finally earned enough to buy my very own parrot. I went to a local aviary named DJ Feathers (recommended by Bird Talk) to buy a Quaker parrot. They were breeding hand fed parrots at that time, so I had to wait about 3 months before bringing my baby home. I picked him out of his 7 other siblings because he kept climbing on me and snuggling my neck..

Hi! My name is Yoda

I am a Quaker from Las Vegas, NV.

No I don't have cute nicknames, I'm a boy!!!

5 years old   M

Quaker

Strawberries, bell pepper seeds, hot pepper seeds, and healthy popcorn.

In my birdie bed, and on my play top.

Balloons, fans, and little children trying to grab me and pick me up.

I love that my owner spends a lot of time with me and gives me my favorite treats.

Drinking out of other peoples cups, climbing down my cage and walking freely about the house, being territorial about my birdie bed, and climbing on top of my owners head and face..

Sometimes you just have to climb down your cage and explore the wonders of your owner's home. ~Yoda.

Hello again! I read about how you had to save for a year to get enough money to get him. How much do quakers cost and how did you find a breeder near you?

P.S. you can change the size of your bird's avatar body parts to make your bird look a little more fit!

Come visit me, Odysseus-a little wet from a bath! & Xerxes, hoping for Bird of the Day!.

Sorry that I couldn't get back to you yesterday. I was gone all day at my friend's house. We caught a TON of fish. I wish I could've had the pleasure of giving you your first vote. Better late that never I guess.

P.S. there is a link to go to my birdie's profiles. Just click on their names on this blog
