Hi Tweaker
Oh it's okay not to worry. Shaggy likes the company too. He's pretty shy but he's getting over it. He's had a broken leg and injured wings. The birds in the aviary was pretty hard on him.

Part 18....
As many of you know, the earthquake was north of NC but we felt it real strong. I heard that there were a lot of little quakes in Nv after we left too.
SO, as I said yesterday, a lady called dad back about a home and so mom, dad and Jay go off to look at the place. When they drive up it's so lovely, green and pretty plants around and a front porch. They get to look inside and when they come back they're all smiles. WE GOT A NEW HOME!! It'll be a couple of weeks cause they're working on the place still but it's OURS! They think it's great that there's birds in the family too.
Mom is showing everyone photos of the place and skin sis says that she and the grands want to go see it too. So off they go and while they're gone we have our own happy dances and songs.
Now we're here and we've so enjoyed it. Mom put a shade up for us and we get to spend lots and lots of time outside. We still don't get to stay out all night because of cats and other beasties. But we don't mind at all because we're used to it. Not only that but we're getting to talk to the Cardinals here...there's 2 pair. The mockingbirds...there's LOTS of them. And there's a bird that looks a lot like me only bigger. In fact mom came outside and saw that bird and thought it was me. hehehehehe It comes around a little but flies away when mom comes out. We tell it that mom won't hurt it or try to catch it but still it doesn't believe me.
We got our own room again and can make as much noise as we want too. WHEEEEEEEEEE! We live close to a little town named Angier. WE LOVE IT!

Sugar and RaneBeau are going to give a dollar for each vote until midnight tonight to the Iowa Parrot Rescue...I know it may be hard for you but could you try? Part 17....
These days have been the most relaxing because we're outside a lot and so is mom. She brings out the bigger birds and just listens to the quiet...until the grands discover she's out there. hahaha
One day we're all enjoying ourselves when we feel a rumbling...only us birds feel it for a long time and we ALL scream to get the humans attention. Then they start feeling it. Mom had taken Ipo, Sidney inside for a nap with her and we hear them screaming...it feels like a washing machine is off balance. Seems like forever before it stops. Mom comes outside and says the walls were weaving a bit. We didn't think we needed an earthquake to welcome us to NC but there it was. Mom got calls from Nv asking if we felt at home now. hehehe
Then the very next day dad gets a call back from a lady about a house........
Just in case y'all was wondering about the bark picture, we liked it a lot cause our friends were on there until right before dad snapped the picture. hehehe

part 16...Yep, Jay, skin sis' hubby, said he wanted to take mom and dad house hunting today.SEE YA LATER GUYS! AH quiet! We don't mind the kids now but it is still nice not having them run and all. I mean, after all, even Sophie is quiet for now. This warmth sure makes me sleepy. *YAWN* Needless to say, we all enjoyed a great day and our wild cousins keep coming closer. One will even get right in front of our cage and eat what we toss out to her. She's still a chick and is quite talkative.She's been telling us all about this neighborhood and what we can expect. She's really sad to hear we aren't moving in for good. We told mom we wanted to adopt her but mom says that she's a healthy little girl and will be just fine in the wild.
Well mom and them get home after being gone nearly the full day and they don't look happy. Guess we stay around here a bit longer.

Hi, Tweaker,
It is nice to have a fellow 'tiel for when the parronts are both out of the house. However, not sure we'd like a bird companion that just sits there and doesn't move or eat or chirp or grooms a buddy. Do you have a mirror? We've heard that some birds like a mirror friend, we ignore mirrors as we have each other.
