Mr. Mackie is the first bird I adopted from The Wings of Love Bird Haven (11/05). Mackie had a male owner previously who couldn't keep him anymore. His size is perfect. The bigger birds freak me out still. Out of my 4 birds, he took the longest to bond to. Mackie is very much a one person bird. He doesn't care for any other members of the house or guests..

Active within 647 Days Hi! My name is Mr. Mackie I am a Quaker from Arlngton, TX. Mack-Mack, Mackie Man and to get him to dance I sing a disco style song using the the words "Mackie the dancer". 13 years old M Quaker He loves red grapes, sweet peas, sweet corn, brown rice w/cinnamon, spinach, Santa sweet tomatoes, cherries & blueberries. I gave him his first mini teddy gram-honey flavor....he's in love! Mackie loves his cage! He loves to hang out on the top part of his cage that opens up and lays flat. He also has a perch in the kitchen he flies to when he knows I'm in the kitchen (pictured below). He doesn't like for you to put your hand in his cage. He also doesn't like to be man handled. She leaves me out of my cage most of the time. She gives me wonderful toys and feeds me my favorite foods everyday. She lets me take a bath once a week in my gigantic bird bath and she sings and dances with me. Mack absolutely loves his cage. He plays with his toys more than any of my other birds. He likes to twist his hanging toys together. He also like to sit on his outside perch and move one of his hanging toys back and forth with his tail. He goes to the cage next to him (Hope's) and steals pieces of cotton string from her cotton ropes and takes them in his cage. Mr. Mackie loves to dance. You can see a video of him danceing on www.youtube. com. Just look up "Mr. Mackie Dancing". Mr. Mackie has a large vocabulary. The funniest thing is to hear him mimic my laugh. It makes everyone laugh.. Play, dance and love your mamma..

hahaha typical quaker....stay the heck away from my cage...dont you dare think about touching MY food bowl...does yours squawk all loud if he loses his footing and falls off his perch. Hi Mr. Mackie We Penny & sparky are Quakers. there are 3 more birds in our flock but only 2 quakers. Our mom loves us all though. You like playing with your toys and twisting them up.
