 I adopted Rally at 5 weeks old from a breeder-friend. Rally was born with an extra toe on his one foot and the pet stores weren't interested in him. I hand fed Rally from his arrival and he quickly became everyone's favorite boy.
Rally has learned to sign a number of words using different wing/foot and beak combinations including food, eat, thank-you, you'er welcome and hello.
Rally is married to Lacie a beautiful cinnamon Green Cheeked Conure. |

Hi Rally,
You are so cute. Wow you can sign, that's amazing. It's Oz, the Rose Breasted Cockatoo. Mommy was looking at Blue Crowned Conures and Male Eclectus before she saw an ad for me in the paper. Mommy said that a Rose Breasted was always her Dream Bird so she bought me instead. She actually rescued me cause my other Mommy had lots of medical & finacial problems and shortly after my new Mommy took me home, she got evicted. So my new Mommy (and 3rd owner) is so glad she bought me. I'm very happy here also and guess where I live? I live in an Avian Accent Cage (really a pc. of furniture) with lighting and a filtration system. Mommy did say it was very expensive but that I'm worth it. Wow I'm so honored. Want to be Friends? Hey sweet Rally
We so missed you, sweetheart! We love playing with you and Lacie too. Happy St. Patty's Day to you. How was your day? The parronts were gone to the skinsis and brought home leftovers of corned beef, roasted potatoes and special cabbage skinsis style. She's promised us some and we can't wait. Hey Rally
"Why don't you and Lacie come inside and have a snack with us"? Everybirdie goes inside and heads toward the kitchen. "How about cider and popcorn?" asks Mac. All agree that sounds yummy. Athena and Lacie make warm apple cider while Rally helps Mac pop popcorn.
Snacks in wing they head into the greatroom and Mac wants to know if watching a movie would be ok. Rally asks if they have the movie about a blue crowned conure but he can't remember the name. "Oh, yes, sure we do", says Athena. "It's called Paulie and it's very sweet." Rally claps his wings with delight, smiles and tells Lacie "you're going to love it". She returns his smile shyly and goes to sit next to him on the couch. Mac pops the dvd into the player and grabs a blanket for them all to share.

Rally tilts his head skyward
and notices what looks like a bandana caught on a tree branch above the sandbox. "Hey girls, I'm gonna go get that. Think it will work for a flag. Be right back." He flies straight up and tugs just a bit to retrieve the bandana.
Mac, Athena and Rally pull different corners to straighten it out and then agree that they should fold it to make it smaller. "We need a stick or something to put it on", says Mac.
Athena flits over to the tree line and snaps a small twig off a tree with her powerful beak. "Will this do?"
she asks. Rally and Mac agree. They work together to splice the top and then each tugging at one of the three corners of their newly constructed flag are able to place it down in the top of the twig so it will stay. Mac stands on the top of the twig while Rally and Athena help push it into the ground.
"There", says Rally, "that looks mighty sharp!" "Indeed, it does", exclaims Athena and Mac does a figure eight in the sky to celebrate. The little flag waves proudly and the three friends wrap their wings around each other's shoulders while they proudly examine their beautiful castle fit for King Cookie with it's pretty red flag.
"Anyone for snacks?", asks Rally...

You sure are cute. I can't wait to take turns playing with your wagon. Can Mac come too? It is raining like crazy here and blowing everything all over the place. My outside birdie buddies are picking up all the seed from the ground that has blown out of the feeder. Makes me feel lucky cuz I'm inside warm and dry and sharing dad's lunch. Cowboy's riding skills began to improve and he soon took interest in participating in our local fun shows. I loaded a video on HorseChannel, from his last horse show. Cowboy didn't care what place he won, he just wanted a rainbow of ribbons. At the end of the show, Cowboy & Trigger had their rainbow of ribbons!

sorry its been really busy here,mom and dad have had weddings to go to and our pet rat here sure left mom and dad a surprise,she had babies,what a surprise. i dont like them much the squeak alot,mom said my dog sister is in the terrible twos,not sure what that means but doesnt sound good. its been super super hot and dry,heard mom say its been the worst draught in wisconsin history,dont know what that is but i know we havent had rain and i want a fresh outdoor shower so that stinks. how is baby rainbow doing? i would love to see pictures,sorry i guess my mom's job is rubbing on me,you see my mom is a photographer. well i hope you have a good rest of the week hope to hear from you again soon.-zienna avenCome visit me, Zienna Aven, taylor and mojito RIP 2009/2010 & mojave mychael.

things have been very busy and the weather has been up and down which mom said makes the net(what a net has to do with being on a computer i dont know)run weird. this weekend my mom and dad will be very busy,mom's bday is tomorrow,and its memorial weekend i over heard them say. hope that it means we get special food:)

It has been a sunny but cool Good Friday here too!
A trip down the Swanee River with Sky? Now that sounds awesome!
Mom and dad are attempting to grow a few things this spring. They have 3 tomato plants....two hanging, one in a pot, some sugar snap peas in a pot, and a strawberry bush in a pot. Ok....the strawberry plant has one strawberry on it...and that just might be the only one ther will ever be. Mom and dad plan on picking it...and splitting it between them! Heehee. They are trying to grow things but never have been sucessful. Once mom tried to grow carrots and they were the size of tooth picks!
Angel has a red car? Really? Is it a corvette, or a miata? Wow! That girl knows how to live!
