Please excuse my copy & paste but I have so many messages to answer, it's the only way to get caught up.
Thank you so very much for voting me BOTD. Popeye drove me to the castle at midnight and I received my crown (thanks to Ruby's mom, Eva). I slept late and when I awoke, my whole flock had taken the day off to be with me. We all had a wonderful time, just hanging out at the castle.
Then there was the party. Wow! So many friends came to visit that I lost count.

What a surprise it was. Being BOTD was a huge honor. My day in the castle was a blast! I almost fell over when I found the library. Nothing like shredding the books to pieces! I hope nobirdie misses Shakespeare.

Man, I missed my own BOTD! Mom was at a show and skin sis wouldn't get me on the computer! Well at least I got a lot of well wishes from my friends here! Mom has another show next weekend. Her vent is draggin'. I think they should have stayed out on the road for these few in between days and she could've rested in between. Now its rush, rush, rush. another great honor of Bird Of The Day on February
2, 2012, exactly one year since I was given this
honor. I didn't even know that I was being considered
and when I saw my picture, I was totally surprised. I

Joey here with a Thank you vote for the anniversary wishes and now the botd congrats! Wow! The last couple of days have been awesome! I got a nice new toy that mom made for me and a special honey treat that a friend gave me as well as my usual treats:) Mom also made a special birdie bread for me! Of course all my flock mates shared in the celebration with me. I can hardly believe I have been in my forever home for 20 years! I will be 21 in June:) Thanks for sharing my special day with me:)

Mom and I were so surprised to come on to the BC, check the BOTD box to see what lucky Fid was king for today!
