 Through an awesome bird sanctuary, that when I became sick they were always a phone call away and when ever my mom and dad had any questions they are always willing to help.They are awesome people and my second parents. I wish they would visit me more. I would recommend them to get any birds from.. |

I am a Scarlet Macaw from Minneota, MN.

Nut job (they say my job is to eat nuts)

pine nuts, pizza crust, bread, brazil nuts, anything they eat
 Perch, on mom or dad's hand, hanging out on top of the cage getting into mischeive, and where ever they go.Bathroom
 Those cats sometimes annoy me when they think they can get my empty shells that I dropped. I was going to play with them later.
 They feed me and give me toys, give me scrunches, and where ever they go, I go. They also give me old pens to play with. (ones with out the ink)I love when they give me baths. It is a fun time.
 I like to go into the bathroom and get in the bathtub, even thought I just had a bath. I should get a bath everyday, not once a week. I love to help out with laundry. Socks get thrown on the ground.I get really excited on my perch and almost fall off. Especially when they are eating food. I need to eat with them as well. I am queen. I also like to stand on the side of the turtle tank and talk to them. They never talk back to me..

Oatie here. Welcome to BC and here's another vote for you. My whole flock is adopted. Mom was in the Adopt A Bird part of the bird club RAAVE in Reno,Nv. She rescued/fostered and well, she says that how could she say no to any of us. ...Well, Kiwi and Punkin were adopted a long time ago. Glad you have a wonderful home now.
