Hi sweetheart!
How are u sweetie? I didn't do my blogging yesterday, mom & I were involved in a bizarre, freak accident early yesterday afternoon! I was unscathed, but mom wasn't as lucky...she's fine now, but very sore!
When mom is holding me, I like her to kiss my belly! She kissed me on my birdie nose, then I told her KISS BAAALLY! At the same time she raised me up, I lifted my left leg, & somehow, my front 2 toes slipped into mom's right nostril & GOT STUCK! Of course I'm past due for a nail trim & my nails are extra long & very sharp! I was struggling to get my toes free & mom was howling in pain! Thinking it was a game, I quit struggling & started squealing! Mom gently grabbed my foot & turned her head & my toes came out!
My poor mom was gushing blood! She grabbed paper towels to try to control the bleeding, got me to step up onto her cane, squirted my foot, put me in my cage, & took off for the emergency room! To make matters worse, they couldn't help laughing when mom told them how the injury occurred! That was a story that they NEVER heard before! Mom spent 3 hrs at the emergency room & had to have her nostril cauterized! Mom is fine, but her nose is very sore! I don't think that I'll be getting belly kisses anytime soon!

Hi sweetheart!
How are u sweetie? Nothing much happened here today, except mom stayed home all day! We had a beautiful day of 78! I spent a lot of time outside today, but didn't get to drive my car, coz I don't really like to be out in the direct sun! Mom swears that I can smell when rain is coming, coz when it got real cloudy & looked like it would rain, I started freaking out & wouldn't let her take me off the porch! I ran up her arm & scrambled onto her back & told her NOOOOO, I hold on to mom's shirt, pant, & gently flap my wings, while on her back...mom calls it my rain dance I wouldn't get off her back & onto her hand until she went back inside! Mom calls Mom told me it was not raining, but I wasn't taking her word about it! I DO NOT like OUTSIDE shower baths!

Hi sweetheart
How are u sweetie? Mom must REALLY be guilt-ridden! She's still falling all over herself to take care of my every desire! She held me & played with me until she had to leave for her Drs appt, then got me out of my cage as soon as she returned! Tho, mom was very weepy when she got back. The vet's office had called her, her precious Chloe's ashes were back, mom stopped there to pick her up. Chloe's urn is a beautiful decorator jar. Now mom has her precious Chloe back home forever!
I knew exactly how I would cheer my mom up! First, I gave her some big beakie kisses, told her LOVE U, then proceeded to tell her all about my game! MOM, WE WON OUR 1ST GAME! IT WAS REALLY CLOSE THO! THE GREYS PLAYED THEIR HEARTS OUT, & THEY ARE GOOD FRIENDS, SO AS HAPPY AS I WAS FOR US, I WAS SAD FOR THEM! Mom smiled & gave me a cuddle & some kisses, & said she was very proud of me! Not for winning, but for being a good sport & thinking of my friends' feelings!
The school across the street was having their annual carnival, so mom took me over so I could gawk at all the kids & say HI! I was a regular birdie ambassador! I was on my best behavior! I kept saying HI, did my tricks, let a bunch of kids pet me & gave out a couple kisses to a couple brave souls, but mostly to mom! Mom bought a couple pieces of pizza, so I lost interest in the crowd of people & focused on the food! Mom stuck me on her shoulder so she could carry our pizza, coz mom needs her cane to walk! I was sooooo focused on the food that I was begging on the way back to our house! I'm not sure about u little guys, but when we macaws beg, we drop our heads, flatten our bodies & "gently" flap our wings! The entire walk back, I kept saying MMMMMM in her ear, & each flap I bopped her on the same ear! When we got back into our house, she couldn't hear out of her left ear for a little while! Hehehe, but I had a great time! YES, it's another great day to be me! & yes, the pizza was delicious!

Hi sweetheart!
How are u sweetie? Actually, it wasn't too bad being stuck in my cage, still covered & in the dark til 2:30 yesterday. Before bedtime Tuesday night, mom hung in my cage, the last one of Uncle Chuck's world-famous toys! The one that had my name spelled out...TIAMARIA! Mom is going to post a pic of what's left of my toy in my gallery! I worked it over good! So at least I had something fun to do during my unscheduled confinement period! Thanks again sweet Uncle Chuck, my toys were awesome & I thoroughly enjoyed them!
I am thoroughly enjoying mom's guilt trip! She can't do enough for me today! She's waiting on me beak & foot...even more than usual & doing & playing everything that I want to do! She even said I was having sketties & mandarin oranges for dinner! The few hours of solitary confinement was definitely worth it...considering the VIP treatment I'm receiving today! Plus, SHE hasn't left MY side all day! It was an EXCELLENT day to be me! Can't wait til the NEXT time mom screws up! Hehehe!
We've been having lovely weather here...84 yesterday, 80 today, mid 70s-80 for the next week! 40% chance of thunder BOOMS Wednesday, & 50% Thursday!

Hi sweetheart!
How are u sweetie? Mom is in the doghouse today because of a SERIOUS infraction! Mom had a sleepover at sissy's house last night, coz she watched her granddaughter coz sissy had to take mom's youngest grandson to Children's Hospital for an appt...poor little guy, he is 6 years old & has Celiac's Disease! Mom was going to bring Livi home with her to uncover me, but sis called & said she was almost home, to just wait then she would take Livi to preschool & mom could head home. WELLLL, she threw a fit coz she wanted her Grammy to take her to school! Of course mom caved & took her to school, but now mom didn't have time to run home to uncover me & make it back to sissy's to go & watch oldest grandson's 3rd grade program. WELLLLL, mom didn't get home til 2:30pm! Mom was upset & was afraid that I'd be very angry with her! As soon as she uncovered me, I said HI MOM, immediately gave her kisses, then looked her in the eye & called her a SILLY BIRD! I LOVE guilt trips! Parronts are such suckers when it comes to guilt trips! Hehehe! I will be firmly planted on mom's arm til I DECIDE I want to go to bed! I won't let her out of my sight tomorrow either...THEN maybe I'll let her off the hook! It's actually a lot of fun watching her type with one hand & me on the other, trying in eat the phone as she's typing! Hehehe...I LOVE paybacks!
It is VERY humid during spring & summer here in PA! The higher the temps, the more severe & violent the thunderstorms! When I first came to live with mom 16 yrs ago, I was frightened & apprehensive of many things...especially thunder! If there was loud thunder during the night, I would scream, fall out of my bed (I sleep in a large
acrylic ring) & flap around wildly, often breaking feathers! Mom started making up games for things that I was afraid of! Since I was sooooo afraid of thunder, she would make wild arm gestures, laugh, squeal, & say BOOM! In no time at all, I began to look forward to things that had previously terrified me! So now when it thunders, I laugh, squeal & say BOOM...& the louder the thunder, the more fun I have!

Hi sweetheart
How are u sweetie? Thankfully, it's our last(?) day of cold temps! We had a high of 55 today, tomorrow will be 80! It's unbelievable that some of our westcoast friends have had record temps over 100 degrees, & we've had record temps of highs in the low 40s & freezing temps of 28-30 at night forcing mom to get her winter coat out again! For the next week our highs will be in the high 70s-80! I'll definitely get to go out & drive my car in the mornings or early evenings! Tho the weather guessers are calling for thunder booms almost every day! That's what I call thunder...BOOM! Every time it thunders, I say BOOM, & I ohhhhhhh & awwwe at the pretty lightning! I love watching God's weather shows! Tho I LOVE a nice lonnnnng shower, I freak out if I'm outside & get rained on! Showers are only fun INSIDE! I hope u had a great day, & I'll see u tomorrow!

Hi sweetheart
How are u sweetie? I want to wish a belated Happy Mother's Day to ur sweet mom...that also goes for all the dads that are both mom & dad to their precious kids...be they human, furry, feathery, scaly! I hope everyone/everybirdie had a great day! Mom had such a nice time at sissy's house & spent the whole day with her 3 grandkids, tho I wasn't too happy she didn't get home til 8pm, which is my bedtime! WELLLLL, I demanded MY time with mom, so I refused to get off of her & wouldn't let her put me to bed until 10:30pm! Mom was just too tired after that to get my blogging done, only managed to get out my BOTD, BOTM & 10K blogs/votes! I fixed mom today tho! I only let her out of the house a couple times to take Sadie the wiener dog out, even then I was waiting for her at the door! The entire day I followed her everywhere she went, & made her hold me most of the day, & I sure gave mom lots & lots of kisses! I think she could use some beak stick!
The Milonga was sooooo much fun! I commend Chyna & EVERYBIRDIE ELSE that made the Derby & the Milonga such a huge success! Congrats to the Derby winners & all participants & the hat contest winners & participants! We all have wonderful homes & parronts, so each & everyone of us are winners! & a very big & sincere congrats to Kiddo & Sweetpepper on their 4th wedding anniversary! I was sooooo surprised & honored that my darling Casey & I won 2nd place in the couples hat contest! It even made my mom break out in a big smile! Thank u so much my dear friends for ur votes & congrats! A very big thank u to sweet momma Deb, who is the wonderful person who makes all of our wonderful pics...she even posts them to my page for me! My sweet Casey & family
To our BC family, I sincerely thank u for all the sympathy & condolences we received at this difficult time. It really touched our hearts. Chloe was a cherished family member. She was a Pitt-wire haired terrier mix with a gentle heart & soul. She fiercely loved mom & the 3 grandkids, & would have given her life for them. My sweet Chloe, I will always love u & forever miss u. RIP my sweet Angel. Chloe: 5/6/04 - 5/6/13.

U have no idea how much u & ur sweet momma mean to mom & me. Ur momma's email meant so much to us. Ur support during this devastating time means so much to us & is very comforting. Thank u for the beautiful flowers, they were a bright spot in our gloomy day! Would u please ask ur sweet momma to move ur beautiful flowers & card & my little bro Luigi's flowers & card to my page. Thank u sweetheart, I greatly appreciate it!
U don't have to worry about mom too much, Sadie, the kitty cats & I are taking good care of her. Sadie the wiener dog doesn't leave mom's side, & I'm right beside her most of the time too. Every time I see a tear slide down her cheek, I bombard her with my silly antics! Whenever I do something funny, mom always calls me silly bird. So every time that I did something silly today, I would say BIRRRD! Not only did I get her to smile several times, I also made her laugh a few times! On Friday mom is going to spend the day at my sissy's house & I know those 3 adorable grandkids will cheer her up. Sissy has been trying to get her over since Tuesday, but mom needed to have a few days to grieve alone. Mom & her best friend & one of my favorite people Amy, took Chloe to our vet's office Monday afternoon, they sent her to be cremated. They are so wonderful & caring there, & gave mom as much time as she needed to say goodbye. Mom will feel a lot better once she has her back home. Mom thinks she will send thank u blogs tomorrow. Mom's heart has been truly touched by all the blogs & emails. The BC is truly a family!

How are u sweetie? Not much happening here today! Mom was busy doing things so I thought I'd follow her around & help her! My plan worked beautifully...she scooped me up & took me outside to drive my car! It looks like I'll get to go outside everyday this week! The weather guessers are calling for thunderstorms Saturday, but it's looking pretty good until then! I love to take a shower, but for some reason I freak out when I get rained on!

Hi sweetheart!
How are u sweetie! Another beautiful day of 72 degrees! It will be in the low 70s for the next week! I got to drive my car twice yesteray & mom took me to the school across the street to say hi to the kids waiting to be picked up! I told them hi & barked at them, played peekaboo, danced, & showed them how I play dead! Mom owed me some fun & excitement, coz she scared the crap out of me! Because of my nasty hormonal biting this year, mom always tells me she's going to pull my beak off! My beak has been pealing lately. Mom got a hold of a piece by the tip & pulled. She was holding in her hand a piece that was almost 1/2 inch wide & 2 inches long! I let out a loud squawk & started flapping! I touched my tongue to my beak tip. WHEWWWW! I thought she pulled my beak off! I think I'll take her a little more seriously from now on! Penne pasta sketties, a hunk of broccoli stalk, whole wheat bread & Granny Smith Apples for dinner! I had apple & cranberry oatmeal for breakfast, YUM!

How are u sweetie? Sorry I've been AWOL these last few days! Mom had one of her delightful cluster migraines that lasted for 5 days! She's starting to feel human again, but feels like she received a lobotomy!
It's such a beautiful day here! For the next week the temps will be in the 70s with no rain in sight! YAYYYYY! I'll get plenty of car driving time! I have been getting plenty of fruits & veggies, but now since mom is feeling a little better, she'll cook some meals for me again! I think she'll make spaghetti today, coz for the last 3 days I've been saying "eat sketties"!

How are u sweetie? It's such a beautiful day! The sun brightly shining, but on the cool side! But warmer days are definitely in sight...67 Sat & Sun, then low 70s thru Thursday! I'll definitely be able to go outside & drive my car! Sorry we haven't been blogging the last 2 days, mom hasn't been feeling well. Mom goes for her yearly brain MRI tomorrow morning, my toesies are crossed that she hasn't developed too many new lesions!
Mom brought home lots of yummy things from the grocery store, now I need to send her into the kitchen & start cooking! She's making haluski (fried noodles & cabbage) today, & steamed broccoli! Yum...I love any type of pasta & broccoli is my favorite veggie! Mom gives me raw hunks of the stalks & I eat the delicious middles! She brought home a bag of Granny Smith Apples (my favorite apple) & I spied a few cans of mandarin oranges! I don't know why she didn't open them up, she knows they are my favorite! Maybe I'll get some & some sliced apple for dessert today! I hope u had a great day sweetie!

All my friends were quite vocal about mom not bringing me back any Indian food from her lunch with Gizmo, Willie & Falco's mom. Mom actually felt guilty having the buffet, coz that meant nothing to bring home for me, but she almost always brings something back for all of us critters! Mom gave me a DumDum lollipop when she got back, so all was forgiven! But I really would have liked a taste of that Indian food! Mom's going grocery shopping today, so we'll have sketties again! Fine by me, I could eat them every day!
Yes, I received our box of toys! Mom will get urs mailed out this week, as soon as she can find a box! I "accidentally" chewed up the box they came in! Hehehe! Even when our moms are too busy to blog everyday, we are always together in our hearts! I'm sending u all my love, my darling Casey! Have a wonderful day sweetie!

How are u sweetie? The nerve of my mom! Gizmo, Willie & Falco's mom & my mom went to lunch yesterday & had a buffet at an Indian restaurant! I can't believe mom didn't bring me back any food after locking me in my cage for hours! I didn't even bite mom, tho I thought about it! Hehehe! Mom said she would make sketties today, so that makes me very happy! Sketties is one of my very favorite meals! Mom always uses penne pasta coz it's easier for me to hold! That means garlic bread too! Mmmm, tho I only get a very small piece coz mom says garlic isn't good for me. Why is it that the foods that are sooooo yummy are bad for us! Who decides this anyway...I know it's not a birdie!
Geeezzzz, this crazy weather! Thursday we had a high of 85! At 10am this morning, it was 33 degrees & sputtering snow, with a high of 46! In 2 days time, a difference of 40 degrees for the high temps! Let's all hope Mother Nature gets her act together! Have a great day sweetie!

How are u sweetie? Our hearts & prayers go out to the families & victims of the Boston marathon bombings. I haven't heard yet if any group has claimed responsibility. I pray justice is swift! It worries us about all the other major events coming up. The Pittsburgh marathon is next month. People come from all over the world to attend. Last night on the local news they were discussing security concerns, & that they will be patrolling the route & thru the crowds with bomb sniffing dogs, especially near the finish lines. Mom's 9 yr old grandson was afraid to go to his soccer game yesterday!
So sorry I only got a couple blogs out yesterday. Mom was watching her 4 3/4 yr old granddaughter. She wanted to do schoolwork the entire day! She's in preschool & her one brother is in kindergarten, & she loves to do the same schoolwork & homework that her brother does, & is reading almost at the same level has him! She's a little spitfire & mom always says she's 4 3/4 going on 16! My sissy calls her the curse! All u parronts are familiar with THE CURSE! When u say to ur child, when u grow up, I hope u have a child just like u! Sissy always says to mom, why did u do that to me, that curse really works! If it really is true, I'm glad I won't be having any baby birdies! Hehehe!

How are u sweetie? Hope u are having a great day! Mom is sooooo tickled that she figured out how to C&P from her cell! U see, mom is very technologically challenged, so it's a big deal to her! It's like giving a child a new toy! Hehe! It sure beats having to sit at the computer for a long period of time!
The Milonga was a lot of fun! I was silent most of the time tho, mom fell asleep & I was left without a typist!
It is after 7pm EDT & I'm just beginning to send out my blogs! Lately my mom has been struck with severe fatigue to the point it's hard for her to function, which is all part of MS. Her neurologist is putting her on a new med. Once the insurance company approves it, she hopes to get some relief. I don't like mom napping on my time!
Mmmm mom gave me some apple cranberry oatmeal for dinner! I LOVE oatmeal! I ate it until I couldn't hold another bite, spoon fed by mom of course! Have a good night & see u tomorrow!

Mom has just discovered that she can C&P from her phone! She's very happy about that, didn't know she could! Still trying to work out some kinks! If she types a personal message then adds the C&P, it's cutting off the last sentence, so this time tried the C&P first & will see what happens on next page! Can't wait to see u at the Milonga tonight! Love ur new fister Zeena, she is so sweet! She & I are on the same baseball team!

How are u sweetie? Can't talk long right now, but I wanted to stop by & wish u sweet dreams! I hope u had a nice Easter! Mom was gone most of the day but she brought me back lots of yummy food! She was gone all afternoon today too! She took my sissy & the grandkids to see the movie The Croods, it was really cute & the kiddos loved it! Oh, I received an email from JennyLynn's dad. They're sending me a box of toys from the Angel Wings Toy Shop, & they made one for u! I will ship it to u when they arrive! U can go to the toy shop & see a pic of them! It was so wonderful spending the evening with u at the Milonga! Every day is perfect when I get to be with u! Mom was watching her grandkids, that's why I was so quiet. I can't believe that we one a prize! I had no idea u submitted our pic! Thank you for that sweet, romantic surprise! I'm the luckiest girl in the world coz you are going to be my husband!
