 Linny & Jim were just browsing in the pet store last year a couple of days before Christmas and I watched them and "followed" them within the confines of my enclosure... wherever they ventured in the store! I didn't even have my crest feathers in yet and I was the only one left! I knew they were the ones who would take me home...but they left without me! They came back though and got me the very next day on Christmas Eve 2010!!. |

Hehe - me and mum certainly love your profile picture!!! You are such beautiful colours.
Mums been on holiday and wouldn't let me talk to my bird buds for a while but we're back online now so we'll stop by and leave votes more often.
I see you like eating cereal - me too, especially warm Weet-bix and milk. Sometimes mum even puts strawberries and kiwi on top so I make sure I tuck in quick before mum eats it all.

Left you a vote. Our breeder takes babies away from their parents at 2 weeks old and starts hand feeding them. She takes their picture every week to show their new familys what they are looking like and how they are growing. Ive seen Cockateil babies around 4 or 5 weeks old getting their Crest Feathers in. I dont know if that helps you out any or not. If you'd like I can give you my breeders web site so you can look at some pics or her babies and try to figure out how old Nikke was when you got her. Nikki didn't even have her Crest Feathers when we got her on Christmas Eve Day 2010 (I'm guessing she was about 8 weeks old?) she has been with us for 2 Christmas's now and she really has "an eye" for decorating!!Come visit me, Nikki.
