Our first game of the season. It's going to be great, no matter the outcome although you know I'm hoping for a WIN, just like everybirdie else out there on the field. But hey, we're Amazons and we've got a ton of determination and attitude, right? Right!

Hello Amando~
I hope you are having a wonderful day. I've got the gardeners here to watch. They are outside my window mowing the lawns! Pretty soon Mandy will be woofing to go out just because she likes to smell the fresh cut grass! Mom takes her for a walk everyday and Mandy has decided she likes to walk down to the Starbucks. Do you suppose it's the scones they sell? I always share my scones with her so maybe she figured she just go down there and get us some! I like the way she thinks!!
Mom already went to the market before I even got up! The store is open 24 hours a day. It's less crowded early in the mornings but mom has to put up with freight on the floor and the floor scrubber being used. Since she works nights at a store, she is use to that stuff.
She got me some pecans so I'm looking forward to my snack! I'll be having apples and pecans today! Yum!
I'll be supervising the chores later on and letting mom know how she should do stuff! We all know our parronts would be lost without us!!

Hi ya Amando~
How are you doing today? It's still sunshine here and I'm loving it! I'm looking out my window at the gardeners mowing the lawns! It's noisy but it smells good!
Mom has to go off to the market soon but she just going to the one across the street. She figures she'll go to the bigger on during the week since it's always so busy on Fridays. I have a stash of apples and corn bread so I don't care if she goes or not. I am out of pecans but that's something she buys at the other store. I have almonds as a back up so it's all good.
I'm going to supervise the turtle tank cleaning this afternoon. If it wasn't so windy, mom would put them out on the balcony for a while to grab some rays. Pretty soon it will be warm enough for that and they seem to really enjoy it.

We tied with Phoenix yesterday as the warmest cities in the US! COOL! That is a first!! I can also just about
guarantee it will be the only time that happens! Usually our weather records tend to be for the wetest place in the US! Today it is back to what May usually looks like up here! We are back to flannel shirt weather!

It is great to hear from you! I can't believe that baseball is only one week away! We are going to have a really great time this year. I always enjoy the games and even go when I'm not playing. I have made some really wonderful friends in the stands!!
Do you usually go over to visit your fiblings cages? Do you fly?
I am an only bird so both the cages are mine! The big macaw cage that is my play cage is one of my favorite places to play. Mom got it from a lady dad use to work with and didn't pay much for it. It's in pretty good shape and I like playing in it. My night cage is smaler and green like us! Mom got it for me the morning I arrived here nearly 5 years ago.(It will be 5 years on May 25th)

How are you doing today? It's very pretty here still and I can't believe all the sunshine I am getting to enjoy.
Mom is going to run over to the library and the market soon but she's only going to the market across the street so she won't be gone long. The library is only 3 blocks up the street. I love having it so close so that when I'm done with my picture books mom can get over there and get me more! I truly do love storytime!
Mom and the kids want to go see Iron Man 3 but I don't know when they are going. Everyone has to go somewhere today so they might go tomorrow morning.

Mayday Mayday, that is not always a call for help, in this case it's just a happy greeting for our new month! Dad is going to take it a little easier today, he has been hitting it pretty hard and has rediscovered some dormant Winter muscles! The plan for today is to get our cherry tomatoes planted, and some okra in the side yard! Our outside aviary is almost ready, and dad has an old cage to carry Ziggy in and out, he is so small, he could escape through the spaces in our aviary! I will be taking Offlee Wild out for a good workout today, he's a great horse! Have a nice day, give my love to all in your home...

I hope the day is going well!
We heard the most awesome story this morning about people from all over the country jumping on to the internet and ordering pizza for all the police and firefighters out there investigating the bombing in Boston. Just awesome! Pizza Time deliver over 1500 pizzas! Very cool indeed!
Mom went out to the market this morning so I'm running really late today! Yesterday I lost power. It wasn't anything bad just dad turning it off so he could put a new light fixture in the storage room. Today I have been getting squawked! All I know is that this is all interfering with my blogging time! I really need to sit down with the parronts and explain the facts of a parrots life and the importance of having a puter available whenever I want it!! I'll let you know how it all goes!

We'll run some laps, do some jumping jacks, squats, and sit-ups, and other light stretching exercises and when you are warmed up, find somebody to play catch with! First of all, happy hump day dear BC friends, the initial shock of the Boston bombing has worn off a little, but the bitter memory of the pain caused by the terrorists will linger on, like Pearl Harbor, the bombing of the Marine barracks in Lebanon, and the World Trade Center of 9/11! I hope your day is going great! It's pretty quiet around here. Mom and I are watching the last Harry Potter movie! It's very exciting but very sad too!
It's still cool and rainy here. It got warm for a few days and then went back to being cold again. That is why we had the avalanches up in the mountains. They do avalanche control all the time up there but they had no warning for these avalanches. At least it's closed down now so everyone will be safe.
Mom cleaned my cage out before I even got up this morning! I think that was pretty sneaky of her!! It does look very nice and I have a new toy so I guess it's time to mess it up again! You know we like our cages just so!!

I hope you are having a wonderful day. Kinda slow news day around here. Mom is doing laundry and I am eating apples! I don't mind it being quiet as long as I get to hang out with mom.
Mom got me a bunch of new books from the library so I have been enjoying them. Mom didn't find anything to read but she didn't have a lot of time to hang out there. She'd spend hours there if she could! It's always such a peaceful place.
Mom figured out how to capture pictures from video and other pages where you don't have the save option. She was able to save my avatar in my picture file! Now she is going nuts looking for videos. I'm sure most of the world already knows how to do this but it's a big thing for mom!

I hope you are having a great day! Pretty boring around here! I'm watching Rio while mom gets some notes done for me! She is just too tired to get much done.
She did manage to make some mac n cheese with left over ham in it so I got some mac n peas!
Mom has 2 more nights to work and then we'll get our weekend. I don't know if she has any plans for us but I'm hoping for something fun to do!
Did you see that the Mariners won their first game? Everyone up here says not to get too excited since it's only one game, but I'm very proud of them!!

Any sign of Spring at your nest???? I have daffodils blooming outside but the trees are just starting to bud. I know it will be here eventually!!
I have been assisting with spring cleaning around here and it has been very interesting!! Mom found 3 extra computer mice in the side table drawer and she thought that was okay since you never know when you might need an extra one! Well in the china cabinet~~yes~china cabinet, there were 3 more! Do you suppose we will ever need 6 extra computer mice??? hehehehehehe This is why I love spring cleaning so much! You never know what you are going to find!!

Stopping by to wish you a very Happy St. Patrick's day! Don't you just love holidays that have special food? I sure do. There is a lovely loaf of soda bread out there and I can't wait to get my beak in it!!!
We got another cold front moving thru today but not really that cold. The daffodils are blooming and there are buds on the trees so I know Spring is very close.
There are all those frogs too! Every night they are out there making all kinds of noise!! I guess they don't realize that I am trying to get my beauty sleep!! Dad says I better get use to it because they will probably be out there for a few months. Bummer!!!

I hope today was a good one!! I had a pretty good day. Mom had to go to the market today so she didn't have any fun.
I stayed home with the skin sister and watched some very silly movies about sharks. They really were stupid but they were good for a few laughs! I started screaming to get out of the play cage as soon as mom walked thru the door! A bird can only take so many dumb movies!
Mom has 3 days off next week so we will be continuing the spring cleaning. You will not believe all the stuff we have found stashed in the drawers around this place! It's no wonder no one can find anything! It is all getting shoved into drawers!! It will be nice when it's all complete and everything is where it should be!!

Birdie fruits and veggies and of course, we need to get things for our traditional St Patrick's day meal, we cook corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes every year, yummo! How ya doing? I'm just fine. Nothing interesting going on at all! I guess quiet is okay.
I'm having a snack right now and I got an almond! I was playing on mom most of the morning. I got a little nippy so she decided it was time for a snack. I have been doing a little molting and mom thinks I'm heading towards being hormonal too! Double trouble!hehehehehehehe It's that time of year!!
So? Do you think that groundhog might have lied to us?? It doesn't look like spring in too many places so I think maybe he got it wrong!

I hope your day is going great! Sorry for a c/p today but it's the only way I'm going to get around to all my friends today!
Dad is doing a back-up on the computer right now so it's running very slowly! He really should not have done this when it's my turn to use the puter!
We heard a cool story on the news today about our county library. They wanted to do a food drive for the county food banks. Even tho they say the economy is doing better the amount of people who are using the food banks out here has gone up nearly 40%. Most of those are seniors.
The librarians wanted to do a food drive which is not unusual but to make it more interesting they are writing off fines for food! Every 3 items of food will give you
$10 fine credits! They have had lines down the street at some libraries! One guy had fines from 2006! Boy! That is a really long time!!
I guess books are not the only reason to love a library!

Geting ready for baseball my man! Today is Milonga day, and due to prior commitment, I won't be going! We have our first QCPS bird club meeting this afternoon and evening, and dad is taking the Flash man to socialize him a little better and get some grooming, better him than me, LOL! The ship's officers and spies have been called to the Ready Room to go over secret covert plans of attack to rescue the pilfered parrots, mostly Amazons, grrr! I will be mostly acting in a Security position in case Maxie and Leah need me, butI will have all their backs! I fear coming back with wounded, I hope Dr BB has the medical units standing by! You are a very handsome male birdy and i am quite flattered by your asking me to the milonga on saturday. i sort of have a relationship with another bird called Angel. Angel doesnt make it on to birdchannel that much lately because their is a new doggie in the house and they have been spending quite a lot of time with her because she has various health problems.
