 One overcast day when I was three weeks old someone took me out of a nesting box and away from my brothers and sisters and took me for a long ride in the car.
I was cold and hungry when we finally stopped but my new mum fed me and cuddled me till I was warm and comfortable and I fell asleep on her lap. Ever since that day she's never let me down and I still cuddle and fall asleep with her sometimes.
She told me that she had lost her baby boy only two days before she became my mum. I was sad when I heard that but now I just make sure I show her extra love and give her extra pecks and I poop on her a lot to make sure she's always got good luck.
For Christmas she brought me home a sister to keep me company when she has to go to work. She steals my bed sometimes and eats my apple but I might love her a little bit (shhhh...don't tell her).
I still not very big but we've already done a lot of learning together and we love each other lots!!!

I'm on the warpath. Tweet got here on BC much later than I did, and he's just over 2K votes ahead of me. Well it's time for me to come out and give it a run, to see if I can catch up with him. Squak got 10K, and was BOTM, Tweet is well on his way to 10K, and will probably take up residence at the Castle in the morning. So it's my turn to let everybirdie know that I am here, and am gonna try like a mad Quaker to catch up with that little monster, hey I am the oldest and was here firsrt before Squak and Tweet were even hatched. How are you doing today? I'm doing well.. however today is Tuesday so that means that I have to get the newspapers in my cage changed and my toys, food and water dishes completely washed with soap. I am fine with Mom washing my food & water dishes, and OK with her changing my papers... HOWEVER... the toys? Those are another story!! I hate it when mom even TOUCHES my toys. I bite her fingers, and she says it hurts, but I've never drawn blood (luckily for Mom, I don't think I'm strong enough to break-skin, unless maybe Mom let me gnaw on her hehehe.)
Mom really appreciates you and everyone else who left suggestions and solutions as to why I may not like hands. Mom wasn't wearing any nail polish, a new ring, bracelet and hadn't recently cut her nails. So Mom is thinking that most likely, it was either 1) that she was moving too quickly or 2) it could just have to do with the fact that I've just never been friendly with hands, and some days I'm more friendly and others I simply want nothing to do with hands! Mom really wonders if that is just how it's going to be with me and her.. which, she says is fine as long as I am healthy and happy - that's what's more important!

well, mum got so busy making the pals, she can't even let me come on every day now, but it's alright if she lets me on every 2. or 3. day.
It's a very windy day here today, but the sun's out now & mu & i are going to sit on the balcony for a while after this.

Wow!
We're doing a quick c/p today if mom can keep her hands off the keyboard. The milonga was a blast last night, even though the auction lasted a long time. What a lot of work for Kiddo and Ranebeau to do. Mom is doing taxes today, so I have to hurry and get my blogs done.
