I grew up with smaller birds and always wanted larger parrots. I got Silver as a bappie from the breeder. I saw him the day the breeder started hand feeding. Took him home right after he was weaned..

Active within 369 Days Hi! My name is Silver I am an African Grey from Midvale, UT. Sil, Sillybird 22 years old M African Grey Nuts (when he gets them). With me, or my step-son. Hates showers (every day) She likes to play games with me and protects me from others who don't understand that I really only like my pet-human(s)! Bobbing his head and saying ohh-ohh-ohh. After 21 years he finally figured out how to open the cage door!. If I can sneak up and surprise you, I win!.

Road Trip We did our first road trip in a while. It was a 5 hour drive to visit family and it was FUN! We enjoyed looking out the window and it wasn't a long day. The Silver lining Hi all, I'm catching up on my blog along with my buddy Peeps. Mom was busy dealing with him being sick (he's now being properly treated and recovering quite nicely, thank you!), the grand kids and some travels. We're enjoying a few nice Spring days in Utah and getting out in our outdoor aviary when it's warm enough (perhaps this afternoon!). All is well with me, mom took me in when she took Peeps in.
