I always said I would never have a bird (because I didn't want a bird pooping everywhere). My husband saw Skittles at a pet store, and I felt really bad for him. I found out my friend had potty trained her Sun Conure, so I told my hubby I wanted to get him. We brought him home with every intention of him being my husbands bird. I learned quickly that the bird got to choose who he loved most, and he picked me. Now I wouldn't change anything (and he is potty trained!!)! We've got him in April 2010 and last summer we got a Green Cheek Conure (Kiwi). Kiwi wants to love on Skittles, but he will have no part of it. We can't let them too close, or he lunges and tries to bite her (or me!). Maybe in time they will be friends :). |

Hi! My name is Skittles
I am a Sun Conure from Independence, MO.
Birdie, Brother, Bubby, Baby Boy
3 years old M
Sun Conure
French fries, seed balls, peanut butter and applesauce!
I love to cuddle by mommas neck, or on mommas shoulder!
I hate when my mom and dad leave the house! I also don't like it when they try to go in other rooms around the house, without me! If mom is busy and dad tries to get me out, I will fly around the house until I find my momma!
I love when my mommy gets home from work and I get to cuddle! I also love when she gives me treats and lets me shower with her! :D
When he wants out, he rocks back and forth, then quivers his wings, bobs his head and hangs from the top of the cage. Every time!.
I am king, love to cuddle with my momma, and my sister doesn't need any lovin'!.
