 My parakeet that I had had for about 15 years died last year and I was struggling with it a little. About a month later a freind form work told me about a lady she knew that was looking for a home for her parrot. I got her number and she invited me over to meet Indy and see how she did around me. She immediatley let me hold her pet her and showed off some of her tricks:) I brought her home that day and we have been friends ever since. There is a story behind her name too...The family I got her from had gotten her on Independence Day weekend and that was why they had chosen to name her Indy, and the weekend I went to meet her and ended up taking her home was Independence Day weekend!. |

Hi! My name is Indy
I am a Senegal Parrot from Maryville, TN.
 Pretty, Baby Girl, Independence (She is named after Independence Day)

Dried bananas, veggies, papaya, peanuts, and pineapple
 My owner's shoulder and the top of my cage
 Dogs, the sound of bags rattling, my owner not leaving the radio/tv on for me when she leaves, and my owner not going to bed when I am ready to go to bed.
 She spoils me with treats and toys. She lets me have my way on almost everything (except harassing the dog and biting). But most of all she loves me as much as I love her! :)
 I meow and growl at the dog just to make him hide in the corner, when my owner leaves the room..
 If I don't like it you better change it!.
