 bad scratches, hiding fingers so he can't bite them, cats on lap
 unconditional love, great scratches, she knows how to hold me upside down like a silly bird, adopted Dad yells loudly and jumps around when I bite him just right, and he gives me cheese, which I'm not supposed to have.
 preening cats, trying to mate with cats, chasing cats & dog away from parronts.

Yeah
What it is about these parronts of ours thinkin' they need a holiday or somethin'. I don't like change in the usual routine but a holiday puts a big ol' kink in THAT system.

What a great place to live! Mom says if we lived on a beach, though, she'd never get anything done.
It was a nice day yesterday, and will be beautiful again today. Mom is taking the dogs to the groomer this afternoon and later, she's going to her older granddaughter's first solo art exhibit. That's exciting! Mom can't wait, she thinks her grand is pretty talented and loves her work. Lena painted an acrylic of Martha, the great horned owl from the wildlife center, a few years back. She included the 3 fosters that Martha was raising that year, too. Mom has Martha and the Vandellas hanging in the living room where she can see it every day. Hope your day is fun and pretty, too. Mom, Dad and skinsisses went to LA last year for a couple days before going to Ridgecrest for a family event. It was the first days of 90s. While warm, there was no humidity. Before traveling to Ridgecrest they went to the Santa Montica pier. They said it was much cooler, and the water was COLD. It was a pleasant change.
Mom thinks she likes temperate best. (Glad you didn't have to face the Texas heat)

You sure are right about having so many friends here on BC that it's hard for our Mom's to keep up with it all! LOL!
Mom's neice just bought a green cheek on Saturday from the Breeder that Mom knows and he/she looks just like you! He/she is only two months old so we can't wait to see his/her first molt and how his feathers will look like then! Mom sent for a DNA kit to find out just what the new baby really is!
I am always so happy to have another GCC friend!

Well, I'm glad that your mom figured it out. Sometimes my dad makes no sense at tall. He keeps telling us that there is a money bush in the back yard. Every time mom starts yaking about taking a vacation dad says "oh yeah, sure. I'll just go out back and pick the money off the money bush". I've never seen him pick anything in the back yard.

Mom smelled gas again today when she walked the dogs. I guess they didn't get it fixed yet. Our heat wave is supposed to break tonight with some rain. I hope it's true! We can only wait and see, though. Mom left the pool early yesterday because it was too hot to sit in the sun, and the water was not refreshing either. yep we know all about the silly hoomans LOL. I tell you that mom and dad are like teenagers sometimes! There is a big rock down on the trail in the river so they went down there today and went swimming out on it. The water was real nice and warm too. Mom had on a life jacket and said she was just floating around in it. She liked swimming up the river and floating down. “We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go.
