 I orginally wanted a Cocatoo but after researching, it was not a good fit. I fell in love with the beautiful colors of the macaws and immediately wanted a big bird. The Blue and gold was the most flexible and less snippy of all. Origninally I had a female named Lola named after the character in the Copacobana song but unfortunately she died before weaned. so I got Rico who's name was also mentioned in the song when we found out he was a boy.. |
