My mom came to visit my breeder when my brothers and sisters and I were really small. We climbed around on my mom for a long time and pooped on her and treated her like a tree. She was really nice and I wanted to hang onto her even when she was ready to leave. So when she and my breeder put all us chicks back next to our cage, I ran and waddled as fast as I could back to her and climbed back up to her shoulder before any of the other chicks even knew what was going on. Mom says that's how she knew I wanted to be with her. So we've been together ever since..

Active within 381 Days Hi! My name is Petri I am a Sun Conure from Cape Coral, FL. sigh Sometimes, my mom feels it necessary to call me "cutie patootie." 14 years old M Sun Conure I love apple. I also love Nutraberries--a- ll flavors. I like popcorn and pasta, but only if the pasta hasn't been cooked. I like to hang out on Mom's shoulder and in my cozy. I hate finding vegetables in my treat dish. I love it when my mom brushes her teeth before giving me kisses. I also like it when she sings my morning song to me--I sway along. She also plays a fabulous game of "I've got your toes" and always ends it with a tickly belly scratch. Quirky? I have nothing quirky about me. I'm a well-adjusted bird.. "Mom will make it right.".
