 My owner went into a pet store just looking when a lady came to her with a shoebox (with me in it.) She asked her if she wanted a bird. My previous owner said she was moving & couldn't keep me. My owner thinks maybe it was because I may have been loud & she couldn't take the noise anymore (I don't think so)! My owner didn't know anything about sun conures so she said yes. Then a few weeks later, she found out but by that time she fell in love with me & I fell in love with her!. |

Breeding Again!!
Sunny has presented the family with her 1st egg yesterday since early last year. I hope this time she will have one that hatches (this is her 6th clutch with none hatching)!!! Will keep my friends posted if she succeeds this time!!!Come visit me, Sunny, Ben & Ray.

Sorry I haven't been on line lately. Mom is still in CA with a critical ill brother. But he seems to be doing better so hope to get him established in a good skilled nursing home next week or so, then go home long enough to make arrangements to bring him here - to have him close to family. He is totally alone and pretty much helpless right now.
Hope all is going well with you and you are staying warm in your area. My Dad is taking really good care of me but I do miss my mom.

YouR are such a sweet baby and so good to hear from you. I would love to stay in touch but it is touch and go with mom right now. On August 19 she boarded a bus to Boise, then caught a flight to Ontario, CA, then a shuttle ride to a local hospital there where her brother was in critical condition. She has been by his bedside ever since. He finally got off he critical list, out of ICU - transferred to another hospital, had another episode and back in ICU. But now he is in a Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center, that hopefully will have him on his feet and out of there in a few weeks. Mom is hoping to go home maybe next week. Me and Babi sure miss her and so does Dad - so we are hopefull all goes well. Anyway - she will try to get on BC once in a while but it sureCome visit me, Well phooey - Mom is back in CA.

Sometimes I get so loud that I get a bath with the spray bottle and I stay quiet because Im too busy making sure every feather is where its suposed to be.
