Just stopped by Hi, Azul. I'm Max, a standard quaker. You are one handsome bird. I like my mom to give me scritches on my head, neck, and cheeks. I am an onry teenager! Sometimes I give her kisses and sometimes I give her nips. I have a vet visit tomorrow for a pedicure and a wing-clip, and to see if I am healty. Mom keeps trying to get me to eat fruits and veggies, but I only like pineapple and broccoli. I tried one of her wasabi peas, but spit it out. I do just fine with my pellets. I love the sugar cane "sticks" she gets for me. I get one every morning when she gets home from work. I chew on it while she goes to bed. She works nights, so she puts my BirdSitter dvd in the player before she hits the hay. It's pretty good. When she is awake she sometimes puts Garth Brooks in the dvd and I jam along. Hi from Maxie the WonderBird! Hey Azul! Wow, you're a cutie! Thanks for visiting my other page, the 10 Grand Hall of Fame Club. How do you qualify for membership into that elite club? You have to garner 10,000 votes. That sure is a lot of votes, which requires a lot of visiting and meeting as many birdies here on BC as you can. Since BirdChannel doesn't acknowledge the great achievement of 10,000 votes, some of us believed that we should recognize and congratulate the birds who have done so. I created the page on Jan 1st, 2011, to acknowledge the scant 6 birdies who had made that milestone. Now we have 18 members, and there are a couple of more birds pushing their 9000th vote mark, so they will be members soon. When someone hits their 10,000th vote, I create membership pictures and awards for them (see the gallery at the bottom of the 10 Grand Page), and I host an Open House on the 10 Grand HOF Club page so that everyone can visit and congratulate them. Hello Azul ! What quaker things have you been up to ? I'm always happy this time of year since I love all the fruits and veges out - there is a farm stand right down the road from us so mom always brings something yummy home :) The owner has a big cockatoo and doesn't mind if mom buys just 8 string beans or sugar snap peas . . . Hi Azul so many of you have asked when JABBER will get her very own page. Now a little history of the flock. Squak came to BC in December of 08, and it took the old guy almost three years before Screech made it. I followed just a short time later. The old guy is slowing down, and we are holding off on a page for Jabber until I make the 10K club. It's just getting to be too much for pops to do all the blogs for the three of us, and we plan on a little break before she shows her pretty face. It should be, I would guess in 3-4 months. Good Afternoon Azul The old guy posted new pictures of our new kid we've been calling pin feather. But as you can see, it sure can't be called that much longer. It's a WHITE FACE LUTINO, whatever than means. Be so glad when the DNA comes back so we know what it is, a boy or a girl, and then it will have its own page, and get the pictures of it off mine, hee hee. why do they think I want it on my page?
