 I was 10yrs old when i found buddy. Or rather he found me. I was washing our dog outside with my dad one day when this bird(buddy) decided to pay us a visit. He tried to land on my head and missed when i ducked so he landed in our orange tree. As i ran inside to get my mom (who dad said would want to see him) he followed me and landed on the roof of the house. When i came back outside he flew down on to my arm after only one invitation. The rest is history he was my bird from then on. We put up flyers trying to find a owner who was missing this parrot. I later learned it was most likely a breeder who through him out do to his crippled feet. Thought his feet dont work quite the way they should he doesnt know any different. This Nanday is spunky and wont let anyone tell him different. he perches on amazon and macaw perches to help him balance.. |
