 My husband and I wanted to get another bird for our bird Tiki. Whenever we went to the pet store my husband and I would see a little scared conure in a cage. He was very timid like people had been mean to him. We knew all he needed was a good home and someone to love him. To this day he has been a great addition to our family. He is the most gentle bird ever.. |

A belated thank you for the botd congrats! Mom tried to get on that day waaaay back on Sept. 23rd and answer blogs and got nothing but the squawk page and then she got slammed with a nasty cold;( WE had our Thanksgiving this past monday on Oct. 8th so the hooman was pretty busy. I told her to get her tailfeathers moving and THANK everyone finally and get back into answering our blogs! Sheesh! BTW. I had a great time:) Loved my toys and treats....hehehe.

We were very surprised to see our angel Bailey as BOTD. We want to thank you for remembering him so. It was a happy but sad moment to hear his favorite song, The Lion Sleeps Tonight (or as we sang it for him … The Bailey Sleeps Tonight). He loved to dance to it. It’s hard to believe that he is gone. Thank you to our BC family for this honor. He had so many wonderful friends.
