Hi! My name is Papi

I am a Pied Mutation Cockatiel from Bradford, ME.

Papi often goes by the nickname 'pop-pop' but as a whole, I call my flock 'Bub-bubs' and 'sweetsies'.

How about all of them?? He was not given proper food in his first home so Papi is a total junk-food-fiend- . He loves treats especially; the honey sticks, popcorn balls, millet, more millet, and even more millet. Oh yeah did I mention he likes millet? :)

Next to the food dish and on a manzanita branch where he and his sister sleep at night. He also just loves to hang on the wire in front, ready for the nightly baseball game.

Papi's pet peeves mostly involve his sister. Such as when she insists on following him all around the cage or when she bothers him while he is eating. They love eachother, but they do squabble with one another often.

"I love when my owner sits at her desk and talks to me. I can be a bit of a chatty cathy but she doesn't mind. She will talk to me all day and all night. I also love when she refills my treat cup and puts new millet up. And sometimes in this weird coconut head, I find yummy honey sticks in there. Its amazing!" Said Papi.

Papi loves to 'wolf whistle' when he is super excited. He loves to engage people in conversation. He also knows how to open every door on his cage which require locks now. Being a rescued bird with a deplorable cage situation with no perches (among other things), he is not used to using them and insists on crawling on the wires to get where he wants to go. Even going upside down doesn't bother him!.
