What a small world!
Ok, here is a Hallmark kind of African grey story for you. My mom, who works at night at the hospital, was in the cafeteria at 2 AM. Yes, those crazy humans eat lunch at 2 AM. She was talking to the cashier, who is in the local vet school, about me!! Another nurse overheard them, and asked if mom owned an african grey parrot. Of course, we know it is the other way around, but what ever. She said yes, and it turns out that her human father had passed away in Daytona, Florida, leaving behind a beloved grey named Digger. The nurse daughter struggled with what to do, and was taking a walk after the funeral in Florida. She saw a lady pushing a stroller, and low and behold, there was a carrier with 2 greys in it!!! The daughter stopped the lady, asked if she could take in Digger, and the rest is a beautiful history! If anyone knows this lady, tell her the daughter is most happy to have found a loving home. hi greyson this is einstein you sure are a purty grey bird,, i live in az boy does it get hot here so don't get out much,,, i know i am a finicky bird ... geez i try to like new things but i just like my old things best..my mom puts new toys in my house and i carry on till she takes it out....
today my mom brought a new flying thing..i heard them say it was an alexandrine.. who cares as long as i remain the king... they are calling him alex he is just a baby i heard them say....he is ok i guess will have to see how he treats me..as far as me i'm not going any where near him.. yeah he is a boy too... but i don't plan on playing with him... he is next to me in his u know "new house"... he better not get any of my food or i will be really mad.. sorry grey but had to let go with my feelings who else is going to listen.. let me know what u think ok??? who is the pinky thing??? einsteinCome visit me, Einstein the bird & ALEX.

peek-a-boo!
Peek-a-boo Greyson! Oh what fun to imagine you play your game!!! I'm Fifi's Mom (we have no page yet), Fifi and I are just stopping by to say hello + peek-a-boo! Fifi says peek-a-boo too, it was the first thing he (it's a HE) said in his life. He first said it when he saw himself in the mirror for the first time. Then he ran away from the mirror, then run up again, as if to check if he was still there in the mirror. Now he says peek-a-boo a lot, and he can say it in three different languages. Like you, he doesn't like vacuum cleaners. Maybe it's just a birdie thing? It's so fun you can ring like a phone too! Ha, ha!!! Enjoy your day Handsome, here's a vote! Eva and Fifi.Eva, Toronto, AE.

My weekend by Ruby
I had a good week end. We had a picnic at our house and I got to be on Mummy's shoulder all day eating corn on the cob, macaroni noodles (Mum won't let me eat the cheese part!) I grabbed a piece of hotdog and ate it real fast!! They are my favorite "junk" food and I never get them. Watermelon, pie...yep,I ate it all and wiped my beak off on Mummy!! LOL. Nice to hear from U again. Every one is doinging very well. Smoky is still a little scared yet but we think he will come around. Every thing is still a little new to him. Rosey is his best bud and he follows her all around the house. Mom did a lot of cleaning today and moved some of our cages around. the tiels cage is nexed to Sparky and penny sense sparky decided to move in with penny. The keets stay in their own cages. well better go and talk to some of our other birdie friends.

Greetings from Missouri. Sounds like you are a fun bird to have around. When our phone rings, I repeat hello lots of times. It confuses people all the time! When my flock sits down to eat, I say "did you eat your supper" over and over. When the dog barks, I say "what's the matter" in a very sad, sympathetic voice.
