Went to a big pet store one day with no intentions of getting anything. Just took my children to look around. There was a little girl there and she was playing with a goffin's cockatoo and it was hanging upside down and being so cute and silly. I fell in love immediately. The next week I called the pet store to see if they had one and they had just weaned her. I went over that afternoon and brought her home. Four Years later and five more birds our flock continues to grow and bring much joy and work (lol) into our lives. Couldn't imagine my life without ever owning a bird..

		Welcome Miss Sophie B. Now, I'm pondering why YOU are in the cage and your other flock-mates are outside their cages? Is it because they are just wee lil' baby birds? Or are you having a time out? You do look mighty pretty even for bein' behind bars! Of course, there are some folks that bein' behind a bar is a pretty good location but those "bars" mean something different all together! So, Miss Sophie B., if you are ever sprung out of your incarceration I know a place you can head to or head 'too. I have an extra perch sitting here with your name on it!
